Part 43: Ishq Vishq Aur Dosti

Armaan and Riddhima were lost in their warm, cozy hug in the fire escape, when suddenly Armaan realized that he has to tell Riddhima about Shashank’s questioning.
AR: Basket?
RI: hmmm….??
AR: you know what, Dr.Shashank called me to his cabin and asked me about our relationship
Riddhima jerked him back and was looking at him all confused.

RI: what? How? I mean really? Did he just directly ask? What did you say? What was his reaction? Did he do something? But how it happened? No..!! actually when did it happen?
Armaan was looking at her all shocked, how did she get so much energy to speak so quickly after all, she just got up from hospital bed after long two weeks.
AR: did you take some energy drink?
Riddhima all bewildered
RI: what?
AR: ya suddenly you asked so question, just take a deep breathe and realx
RI: you asking me to relax? Papa ne tumse directly yeh sab pooch liya aur tum mujhe yeh sab ab bata rahe ho.

AR: uff!! Basket tum bhi na!! To jab tum bed pe thi, bimaar thi tab main yeh sab bata deta, taaki tum theek hone se pehle hi tension se beemar ho jao... tum bhi na had karti ho yaar..
Ri: fine to ab kya, tumne papa se kya kaha?
AR: maine sasur ji se kaha ki main yeh jawab unki beti ke saath duna…
RI: oh holy crap… papa ke saamne, yeh sab kehna, main to gayi.
AR; oh hello you cant back of just like that….
RI: I am not.. I will not, its just I am gathering some courage that’s it. I will stand by you in front of papa.
Suddenly Armaan’s pager beeped and he got an emergency call.
AR: catch you later basket, got to go.
Saying this he left, Riddhima was thinking how will she react in front of her dad when he will ask about their relationship, she thought she got to be strong for her love. She left the fire escape and was walking all  lost in her thoughts when she bumped into someone and that someone was Abhi. Abhi was all ready to listen all hate words from Riddhima after just because of him she has to go through so much, he was all set to hear bitter of bitter words, but he was surprised when Riddhima asked
RI: how are Abhi?
AB: I am fime but are you okay
RI: yup absolutely fine, got discharged and back on duty, par tum mujhe milne nahi aaye
AB: Ridz how can you be so polite, after all jo maine tumhaare saath kiya, us ke baad to tumhein mujhse baat bhi nahi karni chahiye, aur rahi baat milne ki, to ek baar aaya tha, you know Nikki ke saath jab tumhaari naani ne mujhe tumse milne diya tha, uske baad jitni baar aya kissi ne tumse milne nahi diya
RI: haan mere over possessive friends, rahi baat tumse baat na karne ki aur tum pe gussa karne ki, to agar main tumhein kaaton ke badle kaante dungi to tum main aur mujh main koi fark to rahega nahi, aur vaise bhi Naani ne mujhe maaf karna sikhaya hai, upar se tumne job hi kiya apni pyaar ko pane ke liye kiya, galat tha par tumne kiya, ab main us baat ko le kar baithi rahoon, to na to main sukoon se rahungi aur na tum. So let it be.
AB: par tumhaare friends…

CAFÉ
After two weeks they were actually enjoying their full gang masti. They were really hap[py to have Riddhima back, so they were all happy and talking.
RA: yaar Ammy itni der baad hum sab ikathe huye hain, kuch to kar yaar, chal humaare saamne Ridzy ke liye kuch special kar
AR: special! Hmm… ok
And he left from there, and he asked the waiter to play the song

AT: nahi Ridz, jab tak sir tumhein khud nahi bulate tum mat jao
AN: haan Ridzy Atul sahi keh raha hai, don’t go till Dad calls you

After 10 mins Armaan came back
Mu: oye hero tu itni jaldi wapis a gaya
RA: oye stupid tera question hona chahiye ke Dr. Shashank ne kya kaha
SI: exactly!!
AR: sir ne mujhe shaam ko ghar bulaya hai
SI; kyun ghar bula kar halal karenge tujhe
AR: abe oye chup kar aage mere 12 baje hain tu aur dara de mujhe.
Si; nahi main to by the way pooch raha tha.
AR; to mat pooch…


 EVENING
GUPTA MANSION
Everyone was tensed that what will happen.
The bell rang, Anjie went upto to open the door. Armaan was well dressed with a shirt and a trouser
AR: am I looking impressive?
AN: you will rock
He entered the house to find Atul sitting there
AR: abet u kya kar raha hai?
AT: pata nahi Sir ne bulaya
Armaan moved further and touched feet of Padma and Nanni to take the blessings. Shashank also came with Riddhima
SH: oh so Dr. Mallik you arrived
AR: Good evening sir
SH; yes evening is very good indeed, sit
Armaan sat all nervous, Anjie beside Armaan, Atul stand near the couch to give moral support to his so called bro, Ridz and Shashank sat on the couch which was exactly in front of the other couch where Armaan and Anjie were sitting, Naani and Padma occupied the empty couch seats.
SH; So.. Dr. Mallik do you or do you not love my daughter
AR: yes Sir
SH; yes! What? You love her or you don’t love her
AR: I love her Sir.
Sh; hmm… I have seen you taking care of my daughter, Maa neb hi mujhe batay tumhaare bare main, Padma told how responsible and good you are. Dekho Armaan, Ridz aur Atul bahut acche dost hain, itne acche ke mujhe laga they will end up together and will marry each other, maine to Omi se baat bhi kar rakhi thi, isliye kabhi Riddhima ke liye mujhe ladke ki koi tension nahi hui, but destiny Anjie and Atul fall in love, aur Atul ab mere gharke member jaisa hai, mera beta hai vo, isliye aaj maine use bulaya  hai, to Atul um batao Armaan kaisa hai?
AT: uncle, initially na to yeh mujhe pasand tha aur na hi Ridz ko, par dheere dheere ise jaana aur paya he is good guy, yeh apne doston ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hai, aur ek baat main daave se keh sakta hun, Ridz ki ek muskaan ke liye yeh khud ko bhi kurbaan kar sakta hai.
Armaan looked towards Atul and silently thanked him for taking his side.
SH: hmm…. Maine bhi se Riddhima ki kaafi care karte huye dekha hai, jab Ridz hopitalised thi and I think he is definitely caring. To Anjie tum kya kehti ho
AN: definitely Dad he is best, he is joker, he is good friend, a hero, a care taker, a healer and Dad jo Atul Riddhima ke liye vo Armaan mere liye hai, agar Atul or Ridz ki friendship ki misaalein di ja sakti hain to definitely, main aur Armaan bhi bahut acchi bonding share karte hain.
SH: if you guys have this much good responses for him, to mujhe koi problem nahi hai, I am there with my daughters, agar meri family ko, mere bete ko aur betyeeno ko koi problem nahi hai, to mujhe bhi koi problem nahi hai. I am not against them, I approve Armaan and Riddhima’s relationship
Armaan was shocked and confused so was Atul Anjie and Riddhima.
Naani and Padma were happy.
AT: koi na nukur nahi itni jaldi Sir maan gaye, impossible.
AR: Am I dreaming??
