Sanayah: Ye Armaan hai na... Joke maar raha tha!!
Kitni baar samjhaya hai ki duty pe...
Riddhima: (cutting her in between) Tujhe kuch kaam tha na..... To ja
Sanayah: (eyeing her suspiciously) Chali jaungi.....
Armaan: (suddenly speaking in favour of Riddhima) Wo actualy humen kaam hai.... baad me milenge!!!
Sanayah: (not undertanding their intentions) Okay..... See you soon..... Bye
Armaan and Riddhima: Bye
Sanayah's gaze was following Armaan and Riddhima when Shashank started
Shashank: Beta kuch kaam tha tumhe?
Sanayah: Ji uncle..... Aapke cabin me chale?
Shashank's cabin
Shashank: Sab thik to hai na?
Sanayah: Ji Uncle.....
It's Just that ki mai aapko kuch yaad dilwane aayi thi!!
Shashank: Bolo?
Sanayah: Actualy i wanted ki aap jaldi se jaldi bhai aur bhabhi ki sagai ki date fix karwa de...
Shashank: (his eyebrows creasing togrther) You mind me asking the reason?
Sanayah: Actualy, maine ek job ke liye apply kiya hai jiska interview kuch hi dino me hai!!
Agar mai interview aur uske baad ke kuch tests clear kar leti hu to I will get the job.....
Shashank: Thats great......
Or not? (looking at her fake smile that she had managed to force)
Sanayah: Aur
Shashank: (raising his brow) Aur?
Sanayah: Actualy meri job ke liye I won't be staying in bombay any longer...
Shashank: Why?
Sanayah: Wo actualy mai.... umm
Shashank: Thats okay.... tumne Armaan ko bataya?
Sanayah: Nahi..... pata nahi wo kaise react karega?
Shashank: Don't worry child..... Wo tumhara bada bhai hai!!!
He will understand
Sanayah: I knw ki aap jante hai ki wo kitne draame marega.... Bhai hai mera aur us mycarditis ke baad to ......I wonder how difficult its gonna be.....!!!
Shashank: You know each other so well.... I am sure you will handle this well
Sanayah: But that surely means that you are going to follow a list of instructions that I am personally going to hand you over so that you don't neglect your help!!
And Armaan and Riddima would be on guard to assure that you follow the list without fail!!!!
Sanayah: Uncle aap bhi?
Shashank: Kyu koi problem?
Sanayah: Nahi..... actually mujhe pata tha ki aisa kuch mere saath zarur hoga but mujhe laga tha ki isme Bhai ya Bhabhi ka contribution hoga....
Shashank: Of course if you want I can simply pass on the idea and then they can have it there own way....
Sanayah: NO..... I would prefer you keep that a secret too!!
Looking at the wall clock.....
Sanayah: Mai chalti hu....
Shashank: Sure kid!!
Sanayah: Take Care uncle!!!
Shashank: Sure I will and you do take care of yourself too!!!!!

Sanayah's Interview

Armaan and Riddhima in Sepra's Cafeteria waiting for Sanayah
Armaan: Riddhima mujhe ek aur coffee chahiye.... mai leke aata hu!!
She places her hand on his and stops him from getting up!!!!
Riddhima: Armaan aur kitni coffee??? you already had 4 cups
kya hua hai tumhe?
Armaan: Actualy Basket mujhe bahut tension ho rahi hai!!!!!
Riddhima: Kyu kya hua Armaan?
Sab thik to hai?
Btao mujhe?
Armaan: (slowly) Mujhe tension ho rahi hai....
Riddhima: Kyu?
Armaan:(almost in a whisper) Agar Sanayah ka interview accha nahi hua to wo sad ho jayegi na???
Riddhima: (smiling at his statement) Armaan
Armaan: Tumhe hassi aa rahi hai?
Riddhima: Kuch nahi hoga Armaan.....
Armaan: How can you be so sure?
Riddhima: Kyuki wo tumhari behen hai isliye!!!!!
Armaan: Thanx Basket
Riddhima: Accha ek kaam karte hai.... tum yahi baitho mai dekh kar aati hu ki Sanayah ka interview shuru hone me kitni der aur hai!!!!
Armaan: Mai bhi chalta hu!!
Riddhima: Nahi
Armaan: (narrowing his eyes) Kyu?
Riddhima: Kyuki I don't want her to be nervous.....
Armaan suddenly smiles to himself....
Riddhima: Kya hua ab tumhe?
Armaan: Kal raat ko jab Sanayah dinner bana rahe thi to maine usse pucha ki use kya hua hai?
To boli ki mai nervous hu!!!
Riddhima: Did you tell her not to be
Armaan: Of course Basket!!
Maine usse kaha ki wo meri behen hai (smiling at her)
And then maine usse pucha ki Tune apne campus me bhi to interviews diye the to phir ab kyu nervous hai....
To kehne lagi ki
Campus interviews ke time pe to I didn't need the job because I was clear ki I will come to you...
All my teachers told me ki I should be a part of the campus recriutment so i did so..... aur koi motive nahi tha!!!!
But now I need the job and so I am nervous!!!!
Riddhima: (shaking her head) Tum dono original pieces ho!!
Armaan: I know (smiling now)
Riddhima: Mai aati hu
Armaan: Okay
At the Reception
Riddhima: Excusme
Lady: Yes?
Riddhima: can you help me with some information?
Lady: Yes sure ma'am
Riddhima: If you could tell me that currently which candidate is facing the interviewing committee??
Lady: Ya ma'am..... one minute please!!
After she had checked the records.......
Lady:Ma'am its Sonal Khosla currently being interviewed....
Riddhima: And Sanayah Malik?
Lady: She's the next one....
Riddhima: Thank you
Can I see her for two minutes right now?
Lady: Something important?
actualy you are not allowed to do so until its an emergency!!
Riddhima: Just wanted to wish her luck
The lady first looks up at Riddhima with mixed expressions on her face as if a fight was going on between the two sides of her mind and then she flashed a smile and said
Lady: Go straight and take the first left..... the candidates would be there!!!
See if you are lucky enough.....
Riddhima: Thanx a lot
And she moves towards the direction in hurry
When she reaches the place she sees Sanayah sitting at the edge of a sofa with tension spreaded all across her face.....
Riddhima calls out her name so loudly that everybody turns to see in her direction and sanayah jumps up from the sofa and runs in her direction
Sanayah: Bhabhi aap yaha
Riddhima: All the best Sanayah
Give it your best no matter what!!!
and remember you deserve the best of all people here!!!
Go ahead
aur tere bhai ki bhaasha me bolu to sabki faad diyo!!!!
And they both smile....
Riddhima: Aur ab isi smile ke saath confidently andar jaana
Whatever happens just don't lose your confidence and
Sanayah: Bas bhabhi mai samajh gyi
Riddhima: (hugging her) All the very very best shonu!!!
Sanayah: Thanx bhabhi
At this moment Sanayah is called for the interview
Ridhima: Chal ab jaa
Aur hum dono ki, In fact hum sab ki best of wishes tere saath hai
Sanayah: You came here and made all the difference (showing her a YO sign)
Riddhima: And you don't need the job or this damn company, Its the company who needs people like you!!!
Sanayah smiles and gives Riddhima a quick hug and then dashes away towards the Interview Hall
While Roddhima goes back to the cafeteria!!
Armaan: Kya hua?
Riddhima: Wo abhi abhi apne interview ke liye gyi hai!!
Armaan: Okay... So don't you think hume bahar chalke reception par wait karna chahiye??
She can come outside at any time!!
Riddhima: It will take time
Armaan: (standing up) Please chalo Riddhima
I want to be there when she comes out!!
Riddhima: (getting up) Okay Armaan...... If that makes you happy and a bit calm!!
After 15 minutes
Sepra Reception
Armaan is pacing to and fro the reception area, waiting for his sister
and Riddhima is also pacing with him and trying to calm him down simultaneously
At occassions she saw the lady at the reception look at Armaan and frown and the other time she just smiled......
It all seemed weird to her but that time all she had to do was calm Armaan down.....
Riddhima: Armaan please ab bahut zyada ho raha hai!!
Armaan: Wahi to Riddhima, Its 17 minutes now and she has still not come..... andar chal kya raha hai?
Riddhima: Uska interview
Armaan:How funny??
I mean wo abhi tak aayi kyu nahi?
Riddhima: Aa jayegi!!
Armaan: Kab??
Riddhima: Armaan please ek jagah ruk kar baat karlo I am tired!!
Armaan: (coming to a halt) Sorry
Riddhima: Never mind..... At least you stopped!!
Armaan: Bolo kya keh rahi thi?
Riddhima: Mujhe pata tha ki tum impatient ho jaoge isliye hi tumse bol rahe thi ki off mat lo... Atleast kaam me busy rehte to atleast restless to nahi hote!!!
Armaan: Who knows shayad tab mai kaam pe bhi concentrate nahi kar pata.....
Riddhima: You are impossible!!
Armaan: (naughtily) Ghar chalo phir batatu hu ki mai kitna impossible hu.......
Riddhima: (swinging her head) Armaaaaaaaaan..........
Armaan: Basket abhi agar tum nahi hoti to mai tension ke maare marr jata
Riddhima: Mai tumse baat nahi karungi
Armaan: Kyu?
Riddhima: Agar mai kahu ki mai marr jaungi to??
Armaan: (suddenly realising his mistake) Sorry Basket..... mai to bas
Riddhima:(faking anger) Shut up Armaan
Armaan: (touching his ears) Shollieee
Riddhima: (smiling) buddhu
This is when the door opens and Sanayah steps out.....
Her face blank..... emotionless
neither sad nor happy
neither dissapointing nor satisfied
Her face was just...... blank!! no other word could describe it!!!
Armaan and Riddhima both looked at each other equally confused and tensed too!!
by now Sanayah had reached them and was standing facing them
Before either of them could force words out of their lips
She threw herself into a hug with Armaan....
Armaan: Sanayah kya hua? Kuch to bata?
Riddhima: Whatver it is, atleast bata to sahi!!
Armaan: (exchanging glances with riddhima) Sanayah..... Sanayah.....
Riddhima: Do yo want some water?
Sanayah: (pulling herself back) No I am fine
Armaan: You don't seem to be
Riddhima: Do you want anything else?? Sach me you ok na?
Sanayah: Hmm....
Armaan: Lets go from here
And the three of them walk out to the car...
They get in to the car
Armaan on the driver's seat and Riddhima besides him
Sanayah took the back seat
They started towards Mallik Mansion
all the way Armaan and Riddhima kept stealing glances
The silence was getting on their nerves but they decided that they would give Sanayah her space and time.......
Mallik Mansion
All three of them are sitting in the main hall
After a few minutes
Armaan: Sanayah tujhe hua kya hai??
Mera dimaag ye soch soch ke fataa ja raha hai ki interview hall me kya hua?
aur tu hai ki....
Riddhima: Calm down Armaan
Armaan: (angrily looking at Sanayah) I can't...... She is testing my patience and yours too!!
You would have enough but I just can't take it anymore!!!!
Sanayah: (with the same blank expression on her face) The thing is that I have got the job
Riddhima: Thats okay....
Armaan: Hota hai (and they both stop mid sentence)
Armaan and Riddhima: What???
Sanayah: (still serious) Can you imagine guys????
Those people were supposed to short list candidates first then have a second round of interview and then some more formalities and then they were supposed to finalise the list of candidates who would join them.....
But they recruited me on the spot!!!!
An that too placing me as the assistant to the Managing director of the company.....
Armaan and Riddhima: (shouting at the top of their voices) SHUTUP
A wave of awareness went through her and she realised that both of them were standing in front of her with anger, rather extreme anger on their faces.
Sanayah: What??
Armaan: Go to hell
Sanayah: (standing up) Why?
Riddhima: To tu aise kyu behave kar rahi hai?? You got the job.... and you should be happy!!
Armaan: (angrily) Rehne do Riddhima!!
Sanayah: Ab tumhe kya hua?
Why are behaving like this? Maine kya kiya?
Riddhima: Kya nahi kiya?
Armaan: You came out of the interview hall as an emotionless figure..... We thought something was terribly wrong!!
All the way home we were thinking of ways to comfort you..... so that you don't feel low or you don't lose your confidence or .... or maybe something worse!!!
All our thoughts were revolving around you and only you!!!!!! (his volume rising with every word he spoke)
Riddhima: Calm down Armaan
Armaan: (ignoring her words) But tum to tum ho!!!
Kabhi normally behave nahi kar sakti??
Arre atleast ek baar humare baare me hi soch liya hota.....
Sanayah: I am sorry Bhai
Armaan: Sorry???? SORRY?????? You said sorry?????
And you think ki that is enough????
Sanayah looks at riddhima for some help....
Riddhima: Sanayah iss baar galati teri hai!!
You scared the hell out of us...... and now you expect us to put an end to this.... just like that..... I mean.... do you even realise what we both have been through??
Sanayah: Can you guys give me two minutes to reflect upon??
Armaan: Take three.... but behave sensibly please!!!!!
Sanayah sat back on the sofa sitting with her legs crossed, her eyes closed and her mind deep in thoughts.....
When she opened her eyes, the world looked new to her....
She stretched herself and realised the next moment that she had dozed off on the sofa itself.....
The next thought that stuck her mind was the exchange between Armaan, Riddhima and herself...
Her head felt real heavy....
She could not decide wether It had actualy happened or it was merely a result of her imagination!!!!
She used to have real weird dreams earlier but since the day she had landed in Bombay, the effect had subsided!!!
But now she couldn't make out the difference!!!
She got up and started towards the kitchen...
She opened the fridge and took out a water bottle, and then went to the sink and splashed the water on her face!!!!
Her mind was still trying to decipher if it was the reality she went through or just another of her subconscious imaginings....

I am really Glad that the readers show their silent presence by pressing the like tab but frankly I am a little disappointed by the decreasing number of comments....

And guys my exams are starting this week and would end in another 20 days.... i am not sure if I will be able to update or not though I would try me best to come on the blog and atleast give one update....
