Part 21 - 22: Saccha Pyaar

Part 21
Armaan and riddhima entered the plane and sat in their seats... the flight attendant announced their departure and soon, the plane took off.. ridz was very tired so she fell asleep and her head automatically fell on armaan’s shoulder... armaan was going to pull a prank on her but then he didn’t want her to be upsetor mad.. he just sat on his seat, admiring riddhima’s beauty...
Attendant – could you all please strap on your seat belts, we are experiencing some change in the air pressure.. there will be some bumps so to sensure the safety of every passenger, please tighten your seat belts. (she then walks up to armaan) sir could you please kindly tell your wife to put on her belt.. its necessary at this point.
Arm – ya sure
The attendant walked away..
Arm – my wife (imagining when that would really happen)
Armaan then woke ridz up...
Arm – basket.. jaldi se apna belt baandh lo... there’s some change in the air pressure to we’re going to experience some ups and downs
Ridz got worried, she quickly put on her seat belt
Rid – armaan.. koi badi problem to nahi hai na? (getting anxious)
Arm – basket don’t worry.. kuch nahi hai...
Rid – are you sure?
Arm – yes ridzi... mujhpar bharosa hai na (ridz nods) to phir meri baat ka yakeen karo... kuch nahi hoga
Rid – ok
The plane moved up and down various times causing ridz to get a sinking feeling in her stomach. Ridz put both ehr hands on the handrests.. on the left side one, armaan’s hand was on it so she put her hand on that.. and because his hand was there.. she gripped his hand tight as if she was afraid to lose him...
Arm – basket.. ghabrao mat.. its ok
Rid – im getting a weird feeling in my stomach armaan...
Armaan knew that he had to distract ridz somehow to stop her from worrying so he thought of something to say to her
Arm – basket.. tumne apni past ke bare mein mujhe batadiya.. lekin meri past ke bare mein pata hai tumhe?
Rid – armaan yeh kaisa time hai apna past batane ka?
Arm – meri life mein kitni saari ladkiyan thi
Armaan was trying to get her mad because he loved it when she would show fake anger to him
Rid – armaan! Mujhe tumhaari past mein koi diljaspi nahiiii... kya kaha!
Arm – (getting happy since his plan was starting to work) ha.. like so many...
Rid – armaan... tumhaari kitni girlfriends thi?
Arm – umm.. college main .. tina, sheena, meena, bina, veena... (and some more) about 10 aur med school main... riya, tia, maya, puja ...ha.. total main about 27
Ridz got furios and forgot about the feeling in her stomach..
Rid – matlab ki main tumhaari zindagi ki 28th ladki hu?
Arm – ha... i mean officially ya...
Rid – to tumne mujhse pehle woh saari 27 girls ko i love you bola!
Before armaan could refuse, the seat belt sign was off and the air pressure was normal once again... according to armaan’s plans.. ridz was angry. Riddhima knew that armaan had a past in his life but she never knew that he had 27 girlfriends...
Rid – tumne mujhe bhi woh hi kaha hoga jo tumne woh 27 ladkiyon ko pehle kaha tha... (anger rises in her eyes)
Armaan knew that it was very important to calm her down
Arm – basket.. listen to me (putting his hand on riddhima’s shoulder, but she shrugged it off so armaan grabbed her hand and placed a kiss on the hand) i swear to god riddhima ki maine aaj se pehle kissi bhi ladki ko i love you nahi kaha.. tum woh pehli ladki ho
Rid turned her head, facing armaan – lekin tumhaari kitne saari girlfriends thi, ek baar to bola hi hoga na
Arm – riddhima.. woh ladkiyon ko pata tha ki main unse sach mein pyaar nahi karta tha... i never said i love you , only i like you kyunki love is extreme. Main uss wakt pe committed nahi tha.. isliye i love you nahi kaha.. but i promise ki tum meri zindagi main pehli (ridz raises an eyebrow) meri poori baat to sunno basket, tum meri zindagi main pehli ladki ho jisse main sach main pyaar karta hu, and i also promise ki tum meri zindagi ki aakhri ladki ho
Ridz had tears in her eyes and then quickly hugged armaan
Rid – i love you a lot armaan... mujhe chod ke kabhi mat jaana
Arm – i love you too basket.. aur don’t worry.. main tumhe chod ke nahi jaaunga kyunki mere siwaai tumhe koi aur nahi milega to tum bilkul tanha ho jaaogi
Riddhima let out a laugh and they spent their time talking about anything and everything

Part 22
Abhi and nikki were sitting in their seats on the bus... nikki’s head was resting on abhi’s shoulder... abhi woke up and saw her and remembered yesterday’s incidents...
Nik – I love you!!! (hugging abhi)
Abhi never noticed that nikki was about to wake up. Nikki squinted her eyes and had a severe headache
Nik – ahhh (touching her head) where am i and why is my head hurting so much?
Abhi looked at nikki and replied with sarcasm
Abh – aur alcohol piyo na.. kisne mana kiya tha?
Nik – abhi yeh mazak karne ka wakt nahi hai.. my head hurts really badly.. ooowwww (she was really having a severe head ache.. almost like a migraine)
Abh – nikki.. yeh lo.. yeh dawaai le lo.. tumhaara sar dard kam ho jaaye ga
Nik – (she took the medicine) main yaha kaise aayi?
Abhi narrated the whole story even the I love you part to nikki.. nikki got embarrassed and apologized
Nik – im sorry abhi.. woh i really didn’t know ki maine kissi aur ki drink le li thi.. meri wajah se tumhe... (abhi interrupted her)
Abh – aisi baat nahi hai nikki.. its ok... and anyways.. tumhe waisi halat main dekh kar maza aaya tha... tumhaare reactions bahut cute the
Nikki laughed with embarrassment and then went back to sleep as suggested by abhi so her head ache would go away... Nikki was asleep along the whole way.. their destination had come.. abhi woke her up and they picked up their bags and went outside..
Nik – abhi.. kya koi humme yaha lene aa raha hai?
Nikki heard no response so she turned around and saw abhi taking blessings of an elderly man... Nikki was surprised and overwhelmed.. she kept staring at him until abhi turned around and called nikki there..
Abhi – come here nikki
Nik – me? (unsure)
Abhi nodded so nikki went there..
Abh – nikki.. meet my papa... you know...
Abhi was trying to explain to nikki that it was his uncle
Nik – i know abhi
Nikki assured abhi that he doesn’t need to clarify anything... nikki also took the blessings of him
Nik – namastey... aap kaise ho?
uncle – main theek hu beta.. abhi ne tumhe raastey main pareshaan to nahi kiya na?
Nikki laughed to his remarks about abhi..
Abh – theek hai to papa.. hum chalte hai...
Uncle – theek hai beta.. apna khayaal rakhna aur mujhse nikal te wakt milne zaroor aana
Abh – ji papa... chalo nikki
Nik – aap apna bhi khayaal rakhna pa... (nikki was about to say papa) uncle
Nikki was about to say papa as well... abhi turned around and questioned nikki with his eyes
Nik – woh main... galti se... (nikki turned aroud and started lifting her bags)
Abh – rehne do nikki.. main utha leta hu
Abhi and nikki then rented a taxi to go to the orphanage....
Driver – ji aap ki manzil aa gayi...
Abh – thank you bhaiyya... yeh lo (giving him money for the fare)
The driver drove away with the taxi.. abhi and nikki are about to enter the orphanage when they hear a lady say STOP!!!
Lady – beta aap dono ek minute ruko vahi pe.. main aarti ki thaali laati hu
Nik – ji aunty
The lady left and came back with a thaali... she took aarti of abhi and nikki together
Lad – ab aap dono andar aa sakte hai...
Abhi and nikki each hugged the lady (they would’ve taken blessings but she seemed pretty young so they did not want her to feel old)
Lad – rohin.. in dono ko unke kamre dikhaao
Roh – theek hai.. aap dono mere saath aayye
The boy leads them to their rooms and abhi is still carrying her bags.. abhi noticed that they were heavy...
Abhi – nikki! Yeh bag main tumne kya kya rahka hai? I mean hum yaha permanent shift nahi hue hai you know (begin sarcastic)
Nik – (rolled her eyes) shut up abhi.. isme meri kuch books hai.. i read books when i get bored
Abh – toh.. kaunsi books hai?
Nik – the twilight series... (sighing and thinking of Robert pattinson)
Abhi had heard about that series but had never gotten around to read it...
Abh – whats wrong with everyone? Why are they so obsessed about vampires?
That statement made nikki turn around and face him
Nik – abhi, those books are very good.. don’t say anything about it unless you have read it before which im sure you haven’t (abhi shakes his head) see
Abhi shrugged
Abh – ya.. but i mean yeh twilight ki series main whats so special?
Nik – well abhi you know ism eek b ahut hi cute and romantic love story hai.. it makes every girl want a guy like Edward jo uss ladki se behad pyaar kare aur uske saath hi pura janam bitaaye
Abh – aur agar main kahu ki tumhaari zindagi main bhi koy aisa already hai to?
Nikki turned her face again, looking in abhi’s eyes intently
Roh – dr.nikita, aap ka karma yaha hai (interrupting abhi and nikki’s strange moment of silence) aur dr.abhimanyu, aapka iske saamne
Nik – ha.. ok.. thanks rohin
Abhi dropped her bags in her room and went into the room across nikki’s room
Nikki’s room
Kya abhi mujhse yeh kehna chahta hai ki woh muhse....? Nikki couldn’t bring hersef to say pyaar... she was afraid that what she felt for abhi was only one-sided.. she did not want herself to break down if abhi just left her.. lekin abhi to mera kitna khayaal rakhta hai.. woh bhi shayad mujhse pyaar karta ho
Abhi’s room
Lekin main use kaise kahun ki mujhe use bahut pyaar hai? Woh shayad mujhe pyaar nahi karti.. lekin dude.. usne to kaha ki “i love you abhi”, par woh nashe mein thi (putting his hand up to his head while walking in his room) im so confused...
They reached the orphanage pretty late so then the lady incharge of the orphanage had decided to let abhi and nikki rest in their rooms for the night without disturbing them
Canada
Armaan and riddhima’s plane landed in Canada... they were going through all the customs.. once they were done... armaan called dr.sashank as he sashank had instructed armaan to call him when they reached for the directions
Arm – hello sir.. this is armaan
Sas – armaan.. how are you? Aap dono theek se pahunch gaye na? Koi takleef hui flight main?
Arm – nahi sir.. we’re fine
Sas – that’s good.. accha ab suno.. tumhe yeh hotel main jaana hoga.. ask any cab driver around you to take you to this place.. woh tumhe chod denge.. and then just check in.. tumhaare liye registration already kiya hua hai.. alright?
Arm – yes sir
As armaan was talking to sashank.. ridz was getting restless, she wanted to talk to sashank..
Rid – armaan.. do na!
Finally armaan gave up and handed the phone over to ridz
Rid – hi papa!
Sas – hi beta.. how are you?
Rid – main theek hu papa.. aap kaise ho?
Sas – i’m good too...
ANNOUNCEMENT: dr.sashank please report to the ICU immediately for an emergency
Sas – listen beta, i have to go.. emergency
Rid – bye papa.. take care
Sas – bye beta..
Ridz hung up the phone... armaan called a cab driver and said.. “take me to the Oakes Hotel” rid and armaan both sat in the cab as the cab driver took off

Part 18: The Surprise

"Riddhima...listen to me honey...its not like how your thinking about it."

"I dun care Armaan ...understud....n i already told u to leave me alone n not spoil my good mood."

She tried slamming her cabin door on his face but he refused to budge. Instead he moved in forcefully n shut the door behind him.

"What the hell do u think ur doing?? Storming yourself into my cabin at one in the morning""

"I will not leave till u hear me out...got it???"

"Look...i dun wanna hear u...understud..i wanna sleep right now...n i want u to get out of my cabin."

"ok..out of the three u get two....i won't speak right now....n u can sleep off...but i wont leave the cabin. I will wait till u get up."

"Do the hell u want."

She was least scared with his presence while she pretende to sleep. She knew him as a decent guy. She pulled the covers to her neck...turned on her back to him n closed her eyez. But sleep was definately not her way. Especially not when his musculine scent filled her cabin to such an extent.

He settled down on the couch quietly picking a magazine n glancing thru it. Instantly he thre it away again seeing tht it had nothing but feminine stuff. He glanced at her as she made all funny faces cursin ghim under her breath n pretending to be asleep.

Finally she gave up, sighed, n sat up on the bed.

"Ok tell me what...":

He smiled deeply flashing his dimples cheekily at her.

"Tht grin is not going to get u anywhere...got it...jus speak now till my mood is to hear u...other wise go talk to the rocks."

"Chill Miss gupta...chill...."

"Huh..."

He stood up and went and sat beside her on the bed. He took hold of her hand tenderly n was surprised to an extent that she din resist. Her eyes said that she was hurt but willing to forgive if he had a proper reason for it.

"Honey i din lie to you...i swear....but what i told u was half the truth....i never lie honey....its true tht me and Rahul are here only as managerz. But the other half is that our dads own the bussiness. But we din want to be called just heirs to the busiiness n property even if we rnt worth it. So we decided to test n prove ourselves... we took this cruise project to handle widout the assistance of our fathers....n we r being paid n treated like employees...we have to send them the daily reports...we have to follow everything as they want it...we in the true sense r managerz her en not the heirs.....though the crew here treat us tht way....our dads dun nor do we....we want the world to know tht we r aplicable enough to carry on our parebts bussiness....thts it."

Riddhima pondered on his wordz for sometime. It made sense n gave her a sense of pride...so her man(she blushe) wasn't jus a an arrogant rich guy...he was a humble swetet person who wanted to stand out without supports.

"But why did u not tell me....you could have said....coudnt you..??"

"I would have had i been sure tht i proved myself responsible...i still woudnt have told u all this but for the situation...we get to know our credits only after we report back at the office...n thn it depends whether our work is worth enough to hand us the bussiness...thts the only reason i din tell u sweetheart...otherwise thrz no stupid reason as u think....i am at ur service alwaz...rich or not...money is the last thng i thought of when i saw u.......u trust me right sweetheart??"

He picked her hand n kissed it gently. She smiled at his gesture n hugged him making him smile too.

"Please never again lie to me Armaan...and i trust you with my life...otherwise i would have been kicking you out of my cabin at this time of the night..."

"Oh really...thr isn't a chance of that sweetheart...u can't even make me budge"

"i know....your so strong...."..She moved her hand over his chest making him restless.

he closed his eyes wanting it to last but knew thr were other things to disscuss.

"Err...riddhima...today afternoon after u left ur laptop open...i just checked it out.."

"Thts bad of you to poke in otherz stuff Armaan...""

"I am sorry.....but i wanted to ask u something...."

"Yeah ask..." she said kissing him lightly on the chest.

He inhaled deeply denieing all the feelings tht were overcoming him and managed to speak.

"I read Anjali's mail."

"Are you sure Armaan??"...Rahul asked again with an uncertainty in his voice.

"Yes buddy i am...ur not able to see as me coz ur all tenesed up...but trust me...thts it...once we get it right ....everything between u n muskaan is settled for good...trust me man."

"I do...but i dunu...i am scared we might her even more....what if our thinking provez wrong...why can't we openly talk about it...??"

"It won't be wrong man....i hae cross cheked....dun worry....n if we discuss it out openly ...the happiness of the whole moment will be ruined....dun u want to see the glow again on Muskaan's face??"

Rahul slumped deeper into the chair thinking about Muskaan smile. Yes he wanted to see her face glow again. And it would soon. But what if Armaan proved to be wrong. They would only hurt her more.

Armaan relaxed in his chair. He had finally got things on track. He knew what he was doing and was sure that was the only way to get Rahul back in Muskaan's good books. He looked at Rahul n smiled seeing his condition. He was suffering the same till yesterday with Riddhima but had finally managed to break the ice. His smile deepened as he thought again about it.

They had fallen asleep sitting arm in arm discussing thr plan. The morning sunshine had broken their peaceful slumber with Riddhima rather blushing and he smiling cheekily. He then came over to Rahul to disscuss it out but the latter seemed to be unsure about it.

"Chill buddy....i am telling u na...jus trust me...its gonna work....Muskaan will be back in ur arms once we dock at Singapore tomorrow morning."

"You understud right??"..Riddhima confirmed for the third time as Anjali let out a sigh over the phone.

"Thats the third time ur asking me Ridzi. Yes I understud. Don't worry i will handle all. Everything will be according to how u guyz planned."

"Thanks di...I love you for this."

"Hmmm...who else do you love for this??"

"Dee!!!!.....ok i gotta go now....so tomorrow afternoon sharp 10 am at the Crowne Plaza....right??

"Right.....You will meet the guy right there..."

"ok...i will call u around soon then...bye"

"Bye..."

Riddhima cut the call n turned around to Armaan who was busy fiddling with her dupatta.

"Ok...its done...tomorrow sharp 10 at Crowne Plaza..."

He looked up at her his fingerz still twirled around her dupatta n placing it so on his cheek he let out a sigh.

"Hmmm...i jus hope it all works....its good for all of them..."

"Yeah i know....i hope Muskaan takes it nicely.....i jus want the two back together"

"Which two? Rahul n Muskaan or..."

"Both....so wat r ur plans for today?? its jus 10 in the morning...n we will dock thr only at !0 tonight."

"I know....what r ur plans?"

He was back to his naugtiness. He pulled her dupatta towardz himself.

"Stp it Armaan....i dun have any plans ...other than sleeping....coz the whole night i had a monkey in my cabin who din let me sleep."

"Monkey??? i am sure you need a eye test honey...u mistook a handsome hunk for a monkey??"

"Hah....look whoz talking???...Handsome hunk....ha ha ha"

"Ofcourse.....accept it ...u had a the most beautifull n peacefull sleep yesterday...i could see the calm on ur face.."

She fought every possible urge to smile n spoke rather brokenly..

"Ofcourse not....ur were wrong in deciphering my expressions."

He pulled her close.

"Is it so??" he asked as her breathing got heavier. "But i know how to show what i feel."

She looked up in his eyez n they both got lost.

"Guyz my life is hell here.......n u both r romancing???''

They both blushed and looked away as Rahul sat on the chair.

"She isn't even ready to see me...n u said to take her to the Crowne Plaza tomorrow...how do i do that??"

"Oh...thts a prob....how will we get her thr then??"..Armaan asked thoughtfully.

"Ridzi u can take her thr...i am sure she wont refuse you..."Rahul almost jumped in excitement but Armaan frowned.

"Oh no I dun think so...its suppose to be you....Riddhima can't take her..."He immediately objected on the idea.

"Of course she can....Muskaan will go with her there...then i can carry on....."

"NO Riddhima won't go"

"Yes she will"

"NO she won't"

"She will"

"She won't"

"Guyz....I am Riddhima...let me decide"

They both looked at her sheepishly. She looked at them n thr was hope in their eyez.

"Armaan...i think Muskaan will go only with me....Rahul is right"

He frowned deeply and looked away from her.

"Yes....see...shez with me"..Rahul exclaimed.

But there was no Armaan to hear his glee as he had already stalked away rather angry.Rahul turned around to see Riddhima with a rather helpless look as she thought over what to do now.

The Armaan Mallik was angry with her and she had to butter him now. A task she never had before as it was alwaz the other way round.

"Oh god!!! help me"" she silently prayed.

Part 19 - 20: Saccha Pyaar

Part 19

Nikki went to their table and started talking to abhi while sipping her drink
Abh – so.. kya tumne sab packing kar li?
Nik – (had her first sip) ha.. she thinks – why does this drink taste so... different than coke??
Abh – thats good, we’ll be able to chill here more..
Nikki drank her whole drink and started blinking her eyes... she was acting very different according to abhi
Abh – are you okay nikki? (confused by her behaviour)
Nikki was totally drunk (she never had a drink in her life yet so she was basically very drunk just with 1 dose of alcohol)
Nik – haaa (literally screaming her answer)
The people around them stared at abhi and nikki and made some weird gestures...
Abh – umm.. nikki.. are you sure tum theek ho?
Nik – maine kaha na main theek hu... tum kyu mujhe baar baar baar baar yeh keh rahe ho... kitna bolte ho tum
Abh – calm down nikki.. maine sirf ek baar puccha tumse
Nik – (fuming) jhoot!!! Tum jhoot bol rahe ho
Nikki climbed up ont he table and said..
Nik – sunno gaunwaalo... wait (realizing she was in a restaurant.. not a city) .. sunno restaurantwaalo... yeh ladka mujhse jhoot bol raha hai!! (showing fake anger by lowering her eyebrows)
Abhi tired to bring her down but she refused..
Nik – yeh ladka... yeh... (she acted as if she was very confused) mujhse jhoot bolta hai (abhi was looking down as if he was very embarrassed from her actions) lekin phir bhi... phir bhi (now talking in a very sweet tone) woh mujhe bahut pasand hai (turning her head slightly to the left facing abhi with a very charming smile)
Abhi looked up from the shock he had gotten from her words...
Abhi – to himself – did nikki just say that?? O my god... kya usne abhi abhi kaha ki woh mujhe pansand karti hai?

Nikki was prepared to say more things but then abhi pulled her down and took her outside. The people had stared at him and some even went to the extent of telling abhi how him and nikki make such a great pair together.

On the other hand... armaan dropped ridz off at her house

Arm – basket.. mujhe airport pe milna.. exactly one hour from now.. k
Rid – ok armaan.. i’ll see you then

Rid – bye (walking towards her house)
Arm – riddhima! (shouting)
Ridz turned around and lifted her head asking armaan what he was going to say
Arm – i love you basket
Rid was tery eyed as the dream she had seen in her sleep was finally true.. she went to armaan.. caressed his cheek with her hand
Rid - i love you too armaan
Armaan and ridz were having an eyelock, their eyes spoke many things that couldn’t be expressed out loud.. it would have kept going if armaan’s cell phone hadn’t beeped...
BEEP BEEP BEEP
Armaan and ridz were startled and then realized that they were lost in their world again... riddhima quickly turned around and started walking again... she turned around and glanced at him for one more time and he gave her a flying kiss... riddhima slightly blushed and went inside her house as armaan whispered... Oyye Hoyye

Road

Abhi was holding nikki’s upper hand, trying to control where she was walking.. nikki was having trouble keeping her balance..
Abh – nikki tumne sharaab kyu pi?
Nik – (looked at abhi with wide eyes) maine sharaab nahi pi... main to good girl hu... i didn’t touch alcohol.. nope (nodding with her head while saying nope)
Abhi knew that she was very intoxicated so he decided that he will go to her house to be on the safe side.. they were making their way towards nikki’s home when abhi realized that they had to reach their bus station in 2 hours and they weren’t even ready... plus nikki was drunk

Abhi – aaj hi meri bike ko kharab hona tha... we cannot miss this bus.. warna dr.muskaan humme dismiss kardegi.. aur yeh nikki bhi na (talking out loud)
Abhi left nikki’s hand to grab his phone when suddenly he heard nikki shriek a bit and turned around just to have nikki fall in his muscular arms. Abhi was mesmerised by her beauty and was in his “dream” world until nikki punched him in his abs...
Abh – ooowwww... nikki wat is wrong with you? Tumne mujhe kyu punch kiya? Im not a gabbar that you can hi...
Abhi then realized that the alchol had caused her to sleep...
Abh – ab mai kya karu??? Yeh to sogayi.. ab yeh khud nahi chal sakti.. man... hope woh itni heavy nahi hai..
Saying that, abhi lifted nikki on his back and started walking... abhi walked for about 20 mins and got very tired so he decided to take a rest, he put nikki down beside him

Abh – huhh (wiping his forehead) i cannot possibly lift her up all the way.. ek to meri bike kharaab ho gayi, aaj taxi ka strike hai.. aur upar se yaha phone
Suddenly a light bulb hit abhi
Abh – im so stupid!! Mere pass cell phone hai to i can call someone...
Abhi took out his cell phone and noticed that there was no signal so he went roaming around to get signal... abhi got tired of searching for a place with signal so he went back to the original spot and couldn’t spot nikki
Abh – (whispers softly) nikki


Part 20
Abhi was struck with panic and terror as the only thing he could imagine at the moment was some guys kidnapping her and taking advantage of the state she is in
Abh – NIKKI! (literally screaming) nikki! Where are you?
Abhi looks around and got very worried until he heard laughter... Hahahaha... abhi went over to the place from where he heard the laughter and saw a mysterious figure standing a few metres away from him. He walked towards the figure, the figure was laughing, and then he realised that it was nikki laughing...
Nik – hahahaha...
Abh – why the hell are you laughing nikki?
Nik – abhiiii!!!! Tumhe dikhaayi nahi de raha? Itna bada haati hai yahape...
Abh – (muttering under his breath) yeh ladki bilkul pagal hai aur mujhe bhi pagal kar degi
Nik – aaaaaa-bbbb-hhhiiiiii
Abh – bolo nnnnniiiikkkkkkkiii... kya hua? (rolling his eyes)
Nik – tumne apni aankh mujhpe gol gol gol ghumayi? (opening her eyes wide with anger)
Abh – wat? (confused)
Nik – you rolled your eyes at me? (exaggerating)
Abh – nikki.. ab shaant ho jao and lets go.. we have to go.. chalo (trying to get her under control)
But it was nikki malhotra, itni aasaani se thodi maan ne waali hai... tehehe
Nik – pehle tum mujhse kaho ki main acchi hu...
Abh – lekin maine kab kaha ki tum acchi nahi ho? (tired from her foolish acts) ab chalo.. we cant afford to get late..
Nik – nahii! (whining like a 2 yr old kid) pehle tum mujhse kaho ki main bahut acchi hu aur.. bahut smart hu aur.. (thinking) aur ha... also.. main bahut bahut sweet, cute, pretty aur beautiful hu
Nikki said that all in a very childish tone and that took away all the anger in abhi.. abhi admitted that although nikki was very very very silly, that was the reason he had fallen madly in love with her.. it was her way of saying things, her emotions and expressions.. her innocence... he was madly in love with her because of her childish side...

Abhi laughed a little due to nikki’s behavious and replied
Abh – nikki... you are very sweet (nikki puts 1 finger up), very cute (nikki puts another finger up), very smart (nikki puts her third finger up), very...
Abhi is thinking about what to say next and nikki reinforces her ideas by whispering to him – very pretty and beautiful (saying that with lots of innocence and childishness)
Abh – right... very pretty... (nikki puts her fourth finger up) and very very very beautiful... (nikki put all her five fingers up)
Nik – thank you abhi.. i love you (giving a very big hug to abhi)
Abhi was basically on cloud 9 after that hug.. soon after that, abhi finally got control of nikki as nikki started to calm down... they started walking towards nikki’s house

Gupta Residence

Ridz entered the living room and saw nani.. so she took her blessings
Nani – riddhi.. Canada main apna khayaal rakhna... aur mujhe aur tere papa ko roz phone karna.. theek hai..
Rid – ji nani
Nan – chal ab yeh parsad le...
Ridz took the parsaad and went to her room to bring her bags down.. she had forgotten to pack some important things so she started packing that and she realised that it had been about 20 minutes since she came... she started to hurry up. Ridz then went to the bathroom to change and freshen up and when she came into her room.. she felt a hand touch her waist and pull her body close to that person..

Rid – armaan! Tum kya kar rahe ho?
Arm – tumhe kaise pata ki main hu?
Rid – mujhe pata chal jaata hai (pinching his cheek)
Arm – ohh (raising his eyebrows) anyways.. chalo ab.. we have to leave for the flight
Sashank called them from downstairs – chalo.. aap dono ki flight miss ho jaaye gi
Ridz – coming papa...
Ridz and armaan went downstairs...
Ridz hugged sashank and armaan shook hands with sashank... ammy and ridz both took blessings from nani and then left the house
Armaan and ridz reached the airport and checked in for their flight.. they went through all the checks and now they were just waiting for their flight to arrive..
Rid – armaan...
Arm – ha
Rid – main tumse ek baath pucchu?
Arm – puccho...
Ridz layed her head on armaan’s shoulder
Rid – agar main tumhe mere past ke bare mein bataao to kyat um mujhse pareshaan hoge?
Arm – basket.. woh tumhaara past hai aur main tumhaare present and future.. mujhe koi pharak nahi padta... lekin agar tumhe mujhse tumhaara past share karna ho then im there for you.. tum mujhe bataa sakte ho
Rid – actually i used to like this guy in my last year of college.. he was kind of cute and smart... mujhe uske characteristics bahut acche lagte the
Armaan wanted to tease ridz so he pretended as if he had gotten betrayed
Arm – basket! Main yeh kabhi nahi soch sakta ki tum mere saath aisi bewaafayi karogi...
Rid – huh?
Arm – basket... meri pyaari si basket... tum kitni sweet ho... tum use like karti thi... but i know ke you love me... aur waise bhi.. i’m sure ki ab to mujhse cute, smart aur handsome ladka kabhi nahi milega (winking at ridz)
Rid – itne bhi handsome nahi ho jitna kehte ho...
Armaan showed fake anger and turned around to which riddhima said
Rid – lekin aajse tum sirf mere hi ho...
Armaan loved the way ridz said that and decided to give her a peck on the cheek... as armaan leaned over to give her a kiss, the flight attendant announced that their flight has arrived...
Arm – wrong timing yaar.. thodi der wait nahi karsakti
Ridz.. takin advantage of the situation quickly escaped armaan’s kiss and started gathering all their luggage
Arm – ab plane me dekhna (whispering so it was only heard by himself) muahahahaha (rubbing his hands together)

Part 17 - 18: Saccha Pyaar

Part 17

Abhi coughed and began – nikki... (he was hesitating and looked at armaan.. armaan nodded his head) nikki.. will you dance with me? (slow dancing songs were the only ones playing because of the special couple’s night)
Nik – (shyly) yes... (she looked down)
Abhi grabbed her hand and took her to the dance floor

The song that was playing was Saason Ko from Hum Tum. Nikki put her hands on abhi's shoulders and looked down instead of abhi's face as she was slightly blushing, on the other hand.. abhi put his hands on nikki's waist gently and looked into nikki's eyes very passionately. They gently swayed their bodies to the beat and felt each other's heart beat fast. Nikki was melting in his arms and wanted to hug him but with lots of effort, she managed to control her feelings.
Armaan and ridz were both looking at abhi and nikki dancing and thinking of how to ask one another.

Ridz – armaan... (hesitating to ask him to dance)
Arm – (quickly turned his head towards ridz) kucch kaha tumne?
Ridz shook her head... riddhima wanted to ask him but was scared. After a few moments, she thought that she had heard armaan so she said the same thing to him “tumne kuch kaha?” to which armaan refused..
They were afraid of each others reactions and that's when armaan saw that a guy was coming towards ridz..
Guy – excuse me.. will you dance with me? (asking riddhima with full respect)
Armaan was afraid that maybe since the guy seemed like a decent person, ridz would say yes so before she could answer.. armaan went to riddhima and said
Arm – she's taken.. let's go (taking her hand)
The guy left ridz and armaan took riddhima's hand

Armaan and riddhima also went to the dance floor and started slow dancing. Armaan couldn't stop staring at her beautiful face whereas ridz was totally lost in armaan's eyes.. she couldn't help herself from sinking in his crystal green coloured eyes. She felt that armaan had feelings about her, from what she could see in his eyes.. but she was unsure.. although the song that was playing in the background was Soniyo from Raaz 2.. the song going on in armaan and riddhima's world was:

Armaan and ridz both are lost in their own world and hug each other when suddenly the lights turn out and someone bumps into the jodi... ridz was pushed a bit and then the reality struck them as they realized that they had just confessed their love to each other


Part 18
Riddhima glanced down and started fiddling with her fingers whereas armaan started looking around the room and saw abhi and nikki dancing..
Arm – they make such a cute pair na basket... (forgetting the incident for a moment)
Rid – yaa... (she wanted to say more, so she gathered her courage and spoke) bilkul hamari tarha (blushing lightly while smiling)
Armaan’s heart skipped a beat after hearing basket say that.. he was unaware of the world as her presence was the only thing he noticed... ridz was conscious of his gaze so she excused herself to get a drink
Arm – basket.... i love you... huh (sighing) my basket.. (smiling on the words MY basket)
Armaan went by the bar and sat beside ridz.. riddhima wasn’t taking a drink so armaan told her that it was about time that they leave because they had a flight to catch
Arm – humme nikalna chahiye basket
Rid – ya.. we have to catch the flight.. lets go..
Arm – hum abhi aur nikki ko milke jaate hai.. phir pata nahi kab mil paayege
Rid – ha.. chalo

Armaan and ridz went over to where abhi and nikki were dancing.. abhi and nikki were still dancing and armaan tried to get their attention and because he was unsuccessful, he coughed out loud getting their full attention
Arm – guys.. main aur basket... hum ab nikalne waale hai.. we have to catch the flight and even you guys have to go...
Abh – oh man.. time bhi hogaya...
Nik – we’ll miss you a lot..
Rid – aaww nikki.. hum bhi tum sab ko bahut miss karege
Armaan, ridz, nikki and abhi all have a group hug and go outside where there was less noise
Arm to abh – dude.. come with me.. i need to talk to you
At the same time ridz said.. – nikki, mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai..
Abhi and nikki laughed at armaan and riddhima’s unison; nikki went with ridz and abhi went with armaan
Arm – umm.. dude... woh.. main aur riddhima.. (stuttering) ek saat hai
Nik – kya?? (shocked)
Rid – ha nikki
Abh – lekin armaan.. i thought yu were like the guy who would get a girl like.. well you know.. not like ridz.. she is good also but..
Arm – i know lekin i just... (confused with his own feelings) its so weird.. ab mujhe aisa lagta hai ki sirf basket hi aisi ladki hai jisse main pyaar kar sakta hu..
Rid – it’s like he’s madefor me..
Nik – i’m soooo happy for you!!
Abh – congrats dude!! Mujhe laga tum meri setting karwane waale ho lekin tumne to apni hi pehle kar di
Arm – thanks dude..
Rid – i love him nikki!
Nik – once again i repeat.. yu soo sweet ridzy...
Everyone was very cheery from the good news and met back together at the entrance..
Arm – ok then.. we should go now basket
Abhi controlled his laughter and nikki giggled a bit... and then they finally had a group hug together as they would not see each other again for a few weeks.. even months.. who knows?
Armaan and ridz started walking towards armaan’s bike and abhi and nikki went inside as they still had a few hours for their bus to arrive

In The Restaurant

Abhi and nikki sat down at a table talking about ammy and ridz
Nik – they look so cute together no?
Abh – ya.. they do.. but i didn’t know that armaan would fall for a girl like ridz
Nik – well as you know... opposites attract (nikki winked at him)
Abhi thought to himself – opposites attract.. no wonder i love you nikki.. huh... armaan to set ho gaya aur main to abhi bhi tumhe impress nahi karpaaya
Nik – abhi!! (waving her hand in front of his face) where are you?
Abh – oh.. sorry.. woh kuch soch raha tha
Nik (laughs) – tum sochte raho main abhi drink lekar aayi.. theek hai
Abh – ruko.. main le aata hu
Nik – no its all right.. i’ll go
Abh – kk
Nikki went to the bar and asked the bartender for a coke.. she was waiting for her drink and turned around in her chair and looked at abhi..
Nik – (to herself) he is such a sweet guy... pata nahi uske parents ne uske saath aisa kyu kiya..
Bartender – ma’am.. aapka drink
Because nikki wanted to go to abhi as soon as possible, she didn’t turn around to get her drink.. she just stretched her hand and grabbed a glass which she thought was hers.... unfortunately, it was not.. it was alcohol. Bichaari nikki
