Part 15 - 16: Saccha Pyaar

Part 15

Sanjeevani

Nikki was extremely worried for ridz and she felt really bad as she felt that it had all happened because of her. If she hadn’t brought ridz to the terrace, then armaan wouldn’t have heard ridz confess her love for him like that. As she was passing by the hallway of sanjeevani, she saw armaan with his hands on his head. She felt that she needed to talk to him so she went up and tried to talk to him
Nik – armaan..
Armaan wasn’t replying so she spoke a bit loudly
Nik – armaan!
Armaan still didn’t reply so she screamed in his ear
Nik – ARMAAAAN!
Arm – aaah (getting up) kya hua?
Nik – main kabse tumhe bula rahi hu.. tum kyu jawab nahi de rahe?
Arm – main tumhe kya bolo... seriously.. my whole life is messed... aaaghhh.. im hating this
Nik – dekho armaan, jaisa tum soch rahe ho utna bhura bhi nahi hai.. I mean c’mon.. she’s really nice (thinking that he is talking about riddhima liking.. or well.. loving him)
Arm – she and nice (shocked with wide eyes) thats like saying that.... . umm .wat do yu call that.(thinking).. ha yaad aiya... its like saying that a shark is peaceful
Nik – (she got angry) wat the hell armaan. You cant say all these things about riddhima
Arm – yo.. are you ok? (he stood up) when did I say I was talking about basket?
Nik – (standing up) then who were you talking about? (confused)
Arm – im talking about woh.. wats her name... you know dr. Maya
Nik – huh? (very confused)
Arm – you know nikki, mujhe kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki tum sanjeevani main kaam hi nahi karti... you know dr. Maya... mayaa.. can you hear mee?? (waving his hands in front of her face)
Nik – (moving his hands aside) ha... I thought you were talking about ridzy
Arm – why would I talk about her? Are you ok?
Nik – armaan.... (wondering if armaan had heard them or not) but why are you so stressed?
Arm – woh.. you know ki aaj jab tum aur basket terrace pe the (nikki nods) tab I just coming up to see you guys kyunki maine tum dono ko dekha yaha aate hue, to phir main aa rahe tha and then jab main upar pahocha, mujhe yaad aaya ki dr. Maya ne mujhe thodi tests karwaane ke liye bheja tha.. isliye main daud ke niche gaya aur phir dr. Maya ne mujhe dekh liya aur mujhe ek 15 page essay likhne ke liye kaha... its gonna have to be about how discipline and responsibility is necessary to have for a doctor... uff.. I hate her
Nik – (she was surprised at armaan’s story, not because of the essay, but because of the fact the he actually hadn’t heard ridz) toh tumne meri aur ridzy ki baat nahi suni thi?
Arm – kya? Tumhe main kya ek jaasoos lagta hu?
Nik – shut up armaan aur mujhe batao..
Arm – nahi.. I was listening to music... kyun? Mere bare mein baat kar rahi thi tum dono?
Nik – (going closer to armaan then pushing him with a jerk) you wish..(she said while being extremely relieved that he doesn’t know about ridz)
Arm – (feeling very weird with nikki’s earlier behaviour) anyways nikki (calling out to her) kaha chali gayi? (looking around) whatever.. main basket ko phone karta hu

On the other hand, even nikki decided to tell ridz about how armaan hadn’t heard anything
Nik – mujhe ridzy ko phone karna hoga.. god knows woh kaisa feel kar rahi hogi..
Armaan and nikki both try her phone but it is unavailable so armaan just leaves the matter and nikki decides to go to riddhima’s house after she finishes her duties to tell her to stop worrying

Gupta House

*Ding Dong*
Sas – dr. Nikita?
Nik – ji.. good afternoon dr. Sashank
Sas – come in.. aap riddhima se milne aayi hai?
Nik – ya.. woh kahan hai?
Sas – woh apne kamre main hai.. top floor right room..
Nik – thanks
Sas – no problem
Nikki went to ridz’s room and when she knocked, riddhima heard
Rid – papa.. main thodi busy hu.. plea
But before she could say anything.. nikki said – ridzy.. its me.. nikki.. open the door
Ridz opened the door after wiping her tears but the streaks of them were still visible
Nik – ridzzyyy!! Im so happy
Rid – kya hua nikki? (trying to control her emotions as she did not want to ruin her best friend’s happy moments)
Nik – arre stupid.. aaj armaan ne humari baat nahi suni thi!
Riddhima was confused and then suddenly the news sank in her and she jumped in shock
Rid – are you sure? Kyunki woh to itna shocked lag raha tha.. I mean you know..
Nik – mujhe bhi aisa hi lag raha tha. So I tried talking to him and then usne mujhe sab bataaya (repeating his story)
Rid – wow... nikki.. main to bahut khush hu...
Nik – ya me 2.. now you can be normal again.. hahaha (laughing a silly laugh)
Rid – nikki.. can I tell you something...
Nik – another secret?
Rid – ha.. I guess you can call it a secret
Nik – ok.. I promise I wont tell anyone.. and I will only talk to you about it when im sure your all alone (feeling kind of guilty about the armaan situation earlier)
Ridz smiles at her innocence and replies – I trust you nikki
Ridz – actually.. first I want to ask you something... tum mere bare mein kya sochti ho? As in like personality wise..
Nikki – honestly, tum bahut shy lagti ho and also very sensitive.. aur bahut bahut bahut Indian kyunki you always wear like salwar kameez.. no offense or anything kyunki I actually like you in salwar kameez.. I honestly have never seen a salwar kameez look so beautiful on anyone else except for you
Ridz and nikki both hugged each other as ridz was very happy that nikki was honest with her
Rid – actually you know.. I have never been confident with myself.. but I think its about time mujhe confident hona hoga.. main armaan se bahut pyaar karti hu nikki, I want him to realize that main bhi uski type ki ladki ho sakti hu.. I want you to help make me a strong and bold person... aaj mujhe pata chala ki mujhe armaan ko batana hoga ki main usse kitna pyaar karti hu leking usse pehle I want to atleast impress him a bit
Nik – ridzy! That’s the spirit... you know what,... we can start today.. kyunki hum sab kuch hafto ke liye ek dusre se alag hone wale hai.. main aur abhi ne decide kiya tha ki aaj hum party karenge... flight to late night ki hai to we’ll all go for dinner and then party...
Ridz – I love you nikki! (hugging her again)
Nik – I love you too babes... but save the hugs for mr.mallik (winking at ridz)
Ridz – (blushing) to plan kya hai nikki?
Nik – well.. kyunki hume armaan ko tumhe notice karwana hai.. I think aaj ki raat tum mera ek dress pehnogi.. aur phir when its dancing time.. don’t be shy... main tumhe slow dance ke steps sikha ti hu..

They start slow dancing as nikki wanted ridz to know what to do..
While nikki and ridz were talking about all this.. armaan had been calling ridz and her phone was actually not charged so it remained as unavailable and for some reason.. armaan was starting to wonder where riddhima was.. he was very worried

Arm – yeh riddhima kaha hai? Why is she not picking up her phone? but why am I so worried about her? Cool dude.. she’s just a friend . ya but what if she’s in a problem or something?

Armaan wasn’t sure about his feelings but he felt the urgency to go and look for ridz.. he went directly to her home and was climbing up the pipes to reach her window. He almost reached her window and heard nikki and her talking and laughing
Nik – ridzy.. you are too cute!
Rid – I know.. I wish ki woh bhi mere bare mein aisa hi soche.. I really love him nikki
Nik – awwww... yu r choooo chweeettt (the girls both giggle)

Armaan felt very hurt although he didn’t understand why, he coulnd’t bear to hear that riddhima loved someone.. Armaan was confused at why he was feeling so angry but at the same time, he was also angry because he didn’t like the fact that riddhima liked someone. After thinking of why he cared so much about ridz, he had realised that the girls had left and remembered that he also had to leave for the party / dinner.


Part 16

Armaan’s House

Armaan went home and thought about nikki and riddhima’s conversation..
Rid – I know.. I wish ki woh bhi mere bare mein aisa hi soche.. I really love him nikki
Armaan was in deep thoughts as his door bell rang and brought him back to reality. He opened the door and found abhi standing at his door looking amazing.
Arm – wohh dude.. nikki ko impress karne ki poori tayarri chal rahi hai.. I see
Abh – how am I looking?
Armaan was about to answer when abhi saw that armaan wasn’t ready
Abh – armaan! Tum abhi tak tayyar nahi hue? Humme nikalna hai.. remember... aaj hum sab dinner pe jaa rahe hai.. come on dude..
Arm – chill.. main abhi aaya... gimme 5 minutes..
Armaan got changed and came out. He was looking kind of stressed out as he had been thinking about ridz too much.. he was constantly finding himself thinking about her. Abhi was noticing his acts and asked if everything’s alright. Being the cool dude, armaan told abhi that he was fine. The two dashing guys then left for the restaurant on their own bikes.

The Restaurant

Armaan and abhi reached the place. They got off their bikes and started walking towards the main entrance when a sudden breeze hits them. They get the chills and see the two beautiful girls looking very dashing and elegant walking towards them. It was the first time armaan noticed riddhima’s beauty as she was wearing nikki’s red halter knee length dress. Armaan could not close his eyes as he was amazed by how beautiful riddhima was in his favourite sauce waala laal. Abhi was standing there unaware of his surroundings. Nikki was wearing a strapless knee length dress that was black. Their dresses were very normal, not so expensive but the guys were just mesmerised by them.

Arm – (in his head) riddhima is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen
Abh – (in his head) she is so perfect.... I will tell nikki how much I love her today.. no matter what..
The girls reached in front of them and saw the guys staring at them so they both screamed out..
Girls – hellloooo.... kaha kho gaye?
Guys – huh (disturbed from their dream world)
Nik – we’re here.. andar chale..
Abh – sure nikki.. let’s go (taking her in the front while ridz and armaan walked behind them)
Arm – you’re looking gorgeous basket..
Rid – thanks.. tum bhi bahut handsome lag rahe ho (looking forward and walking)
Armaan stopped walking as he felt like he was the luckiest guy in the world at the moment when ridz said he was looking handsome. Ridz noticed that and was glad that she was impressing armaan, she then pulled armaan by the hand . ridz - chalo!
Abhi nikki ridz and ammy were all about to enter when someone showed up
Person – excuse me.. aaj iss restaurant mein sirf aur sirf couples aa sakte hai.. so you can only enter if you have someone with you

Abhi and armaan were both secretly happy as they both clasped their hands with the beauties standing beside them.. nikki was glad that it was couple’s night, although she didn’t know why. She just knew that she wanted to be with abhi everytime because he cared a lot for her, and it was obvious. While nikki was smiling at abhi, ridz was extremely delighted.
Ridz – (in her head) this is the perfect day of my life!
Person – ok so you may go in.. your table is by the window on the left side.
Arm – kk thanks.. let’s go..
Abhi – may I? (asking for nikki’s hand)
Nik – (she giggled a bit) sure

They all went and sat down at the table. Though they were sitting together at one table, all of their eyes were only looking at their respective partners until a waiter disturbed them and asked them what they were going to order. The guys did the honour and ordered their food and they started having a conversation
Nik – nice place armaan... good choice
Arm – (trying to make nikki get impressed with abhi) actually sirf yeh party ka idea mera tha, is restaurant ko abhi ne pick kiya hai.. its nice naa basket?

Ridz nodded but she knew that armaan was lying . she didn’t know how she can say that he was lying but she felt as if she understood every action of armaan’s. She knew that armaan was the one who picked the restaurant but she was wondering why he lied.. riddhima thought about abhi likin nikki but wasn’t sure so she excused herself cause she knew that nikki would come with her as well

Rid – umm.. mujhe washroom jaana hai.. I’ll be right back.. ok
Nik – wait ridzy.. I have to go too.. we’ll be right back (ridz smiled)
Riddhima had hoped that she would come along so she could ask nikki is she feels something for abhi
Guys – ya sure
The girls left for the washroom and abhi and armaan started talking about ways to impress nikki
Abh – nikki is looking so gorgeous today armaan. I really want to tell her.. main usse batana chahta hu ki main usse kitna pyaar karta hu
Arm – abhi.. mujhe pata hai kit um bahut betaab ho rahe hoge lekin you have to still impress her.. agar tum sirf use directly yeh kaho ge kit um usse pyaar karte ho to shayad woh bahut over react karegi.. and if you have a good and charming impression on her.. woh shayad tumhe ek mauka de.. you never know
Abhi – tum theek keh rahe ho armaan.. to mujhe kya karna chahiye?
Arm – the love guru will help you abhi..
Abhi – shut up armaan aur mujhe bataao.. isse pehle ki woh aur ridz aa jaaye
As soon as abhi said riddhima’s name, he himself started to think of ways he could impress her.. he was lost until abhi snapped his fingers in front of his face and gave him a pleading look...
Arm – dude.. (thinking of ideas) you should ask her for a dance!..ya thats it.. (abhi was just staring at him blankly) you know, slow dance... ladkiya isse bahut impress hoti hai
Abh – lekin usne mana kardiya to? (nervously)
Arm - dekh.. tum bahut acche dikhte ho, you also have a very sweet and charming attitude... har koy ladki tujhe haa karegi.. don’t worry yaar.. woh tujhe reject nahi karegi
Abh – I really hope so
Ridz- don’t worry.. woh tumhe mana nahi karegi (smiling)
Abhi and armaan looked at her and their sudden reactions was to open their eyes wide and stand up
Arm – tum!
Abhi – tum yaha kya karahi ho riddima?
Rid – guys.. main koi bhoot nahi hu so stop (telling them to stop with their act of intense staring).. and abhi... remember.. main tum logo ke saath yaha dinner pe aayi hu..
Arm – where is nikki?
Rid – oh.. she went to go get a drink.. mujhe nahi chahiye thi isliye..
Abh – riddhima.. listen.. don’t tell nikki about what you just heard.. please
Rid – don’t worry abhi.. I won’t.. but I will tell you one thing.. (sitting down beside him) she is getting impressed
Abhi was happy and asked – sacchi?
Ridz nodded – ya!! Abhi usne mujhse yehi kaha....

~ Flasback ~
Nik – ridzy! Can I ask you something? (riddhima nodded) how do you know if you love someone?
Rid – well.. jab tum kissi se pyaar karti ho, to tumhe har wakt ussi ka attention chahiye hota hai, woh jab tumhari taarif kare tumhe bahut accha lage aur well.. lots of things.. lekin tum kyu yeh pucch rahi ho?
Nik – nahi.. woh aise hi
Rid – come on nikki.. you can tell me...
Nik – umm woh.. actually aaj abhi jiss tarah se mujhe dekh raha tha.. mujhe aise laga ki uske dil mein mere liye kucch hai.. aur jab hum sab armaan ke ghar rehne gaye the.. tab se mein har wakt uske bare mein hi sochti rehti hu
Rid – toh do you think that you are in love?
Nik – yehi to mujhe nahi pata ridzy... lekin I know that I like him (blushing)
Rid – aawww.. you look so cute when you blush... ohh.. I see.. tum isliye washroom mein aayi mere saath.. apne doubts clear karne (laughing)
Nik – stop it ridz (getting embarrassed) accha ab chalo.. warna woh log soche ge ki hum log itni der se yaha kya kar rahe hai
Rid – okay okay nikki.. hum jaa rahe.. abhi se milne mein itni betaabi?
Nik – ridzy!
Rid – okay sorry baba... chalo
Nik – umm ridzy.. tumhe koy drink chahiye? Mein jaa rahi hu.. tumhare liye kucch le aau?
Rid – no its ok.. cyu at the table
Nik – k
~ Flashback Ends ~

Abhi was all pepped up after hearing that nikki actually did like him. He gathered up his courage and decided to ask nikki out for a date. Nikki was coming and abhi prepared himself
Nik – (sitting down) k guys.. m back
Abhi coughed and began – nikki...

She sat before the giant sea, watching the waves rise and fall.Its silence was peaceful, but there was a thunderstorm inside the heart...Yeah, it was new year's eve again!

"and like today...we'll always be together, on this very beach, walking hand-in-hand ...and when the new year will begin, you'll be in my arms!Wouldn't it be a perfect start for a perfect year?..."

He wasn't with her, neither at the beach, nor in life.They had parted their ways, some three months back but her heart, seemed to have been taken away by him.She had moved on, but her heart hadn't!...She was shattered from within.

As his memories flooded inside her heart and mind, tears crawled down those rosy, but pale cheeks.It was hard, living without him...without listening to his sweet nothings, his rantings and ramblings with her, his dimples being flashed without any occassion, without the warm hug and the secure feeling, which he supplied her, whenever she needed it...his cute confessions...perhaps, without him!...

Maybe, they were not meant for each other or rather, God had decided something else for them...Whatever it was, it was hard for her to come to terms with the break-up.Though, she'd projected herself to be" totally cool with this breakup thing", her heart knew, it wasn't "cool" at all.Only her inner self knew, how she used to keep awake till wee hours of morning, trying to get some sleep, trying to erase his memories from her heart, how gruesome it was, to keep looking at the cell phone to hear it buzzing aloud with "Armaan calling" or as a matter of fact, to recieve, one SMS, be it an empty screen....

Wiping her tears, she glanced at her wrist watch, just 10 more seconds to go...She didn't know why, her heart did somersaults...she was craving for him now...she was desperate for him .though her mind knew, he had left but her heart believed, he'll come back, even after those bleak three months, those hard words and those pathetic accusations, they had targetted at each other...

"Happy New Year Basket..."The voice behind her, made her heart stop for a few seconds.

"No..I'm...I'm imagining again..."She wiped the rapid tears flowing her eyes now...

"You're not basket!...I'm here..."He repeated, looking at her, standing with closed eyes...

"Hug me then....prove your presence..."She cried, with eyes still closed.

"I love you Basket..."He whispered, taking her into a tight embraced...

"I love you too Armaan...I lo..love you..."she held him tight, lest he may escape, being a reverie of hers!

"Happy new year Basket...I promise, not to leave you alone, ever again...!Will you be mine?..."He kissed her eyes, wiping away the tears..

"Yes I will..."

There was no place for words after that.He took her in arms, placed her lips on hers and gently took away her pain, the agony of parting from her soul.They stood together, till eternity, amidst the fireworks in the sky!...It was indeed, perfect beginning, of a perfect year....!

Part 12: Life

Garden

Riddhima: arjun bhaiyya ni, mujse jooth bola, unho ne mujhe dhoka diya.....

tears had started to form in her eyes, her heart started to ache, she felt a bit dizzy, but that had been going on that whole week,

armaan: riddhima....

riddhima: armaan, u know, woh abhi india mein hai, 2 din baad ayenga, unki patni ki saath....

armaan was aware that riddhima had a brother but he had always thought that he was single, as riddhima had never mentioned about his wife before

armaan: lekin tumhara bhai toh single tha na?

riddhima: haan, unho ne mujha nahi bataya ki unki shaadi hogaye, woh jab move howe the toh fir ek, do din baad india chalagaya, aur waha par shaadi karli,

armaan: toh fir tumhe toh khush hona chaiyaa na,

riddhima: haan, mein bohut khush ho ki unko koi milgaya lekin, mujha yeh dhuk hai ki unhone mujse chupayi yeh baat, meri ek cousin ni phone karke yeh poucha ki mein unki shaadi mein kyu nahi ayi?

armaan: koi reason hoga....maybe woh nahi chahte ki tum he malom chale isliye kyunki fir tumhe bhi india jaana hota

riddhima: lekin kya mein bari nahi hogayi, im going to be an adult in a year and he thinks im going to be immature about it?

armaan: ok, maybe because your mom would find out?

riddhima: he knows i wouldnt do that, to talk to him i have to go behind my moms back, i feel like im stealing or doing a crime, but its the only way i can keep in contact with my only brother

she had been emphazing on only, as there was another story behind, which armaan knew right away,
riddhima had 3 older brothers which were taken away from her when she was very little by her father, although her father wanted to take her away as well he wasnt able to as Tanvi was in the way,
riddhimas eye were filled with tears to come pouring out, one of them poped out of her eye but landed into something soft

armaan had extened his hand to riddhimas face and caught the tear from hitting the ground, ridddhima just looked at him in a weird face, just gazing into his blue eyes, asking wat was he doing?

armaan: yeh ansoon ko aise mat waste karo, yeh bohut keemti hai,

riddhima just looked at him with wide red eyes, she instantly went into a hug holding him tight, stuffing her face into his chest
armaan although startled he gently placed his hands around riddhima

armaan: everytings gonna be alrite, i know there must have been some logical reason behind all this, u just need to confront him, okay,

he gently whispered into riddhimas ear, while he started to stroke her jet black hair

riddhima didn't respond at all, the only thing she knew was that she felt safe, and protected, that nothing was going to happen to her if armaan was by her side, she knew everything was going to be alrite if he was there,
they stayed in the hug for what seemed to be eternity,
but it was riddhima who realized first where they were

riddhima quickly let go of armaan and backed away feeling embarresed, she started to look at her feet while her fingers started fiddling with the ends of her shirt,
armaan too felt a little embarresed,

armaan & riddhima at the same time : sorry
they started laughing at their innocense, as they said in sinc with the same tone

armaan: okay, enough of this rona dhona, yeh tumeh suit nahi karta, tum muskarti wi achhi
lagti ho,

riddhima smiled with her dimples flashing, while a lock of hair fell on her cheek, gently caressing it,

armaan, this time extended his arm and put it back behind her ear sending cold shivers down her back by his touch, and making her cheeks turn red. she didnt know what was going on with her, everytime he touched her , she felt like her whole body was being electrified, she kept num, but would always try to see clues if he ever felt the same, it would only when they were close together that the shock wouldnt be there, but a cord would, that would keep pulling on them to go closer to each other

armaan: jab bhi tum mere saath ho, toh fir tumhe muskarate rehna hoga, nahi toh mein tumse baat nahi karunga

riddhima: hmmmm, ummm? armaan kya hum cafe jasakte hai?

armaan: yeah sure, chalo....


Cafe

everyone had been surronding the table where the map had been laid out with the title "Mission Make Ridzi Smile or M.M.R.S"

nikki: okay guys, abhi koi mistake nahi honi chaiyya
all the girls looking up at the guys giving them their deadlist look, while the guys actually jumped back a bit, looking at one another, Rahul even bumped into a waiter, spilling hot coffee on one of the customers,

Rahul: sorry, my fault, i''ll pay for that coffe (to the customer)

customer: yeah, you kind of owe me now, and how about giving me money for the shirt that you just ruined

Rahul: hey! dont push it (now pointing a finger)

he paid the customer and came back to the group notcing that everyone had their hands to their mouth to hide their smirks, grins, and laughter

Rahul: kya hua, does something stink or something?..

isha: whatever, lets get back to the plan,

muskaan: r u guys really sure that u wont mess anything up this time, i mean like forget something or do we have to do everything?

sahil: muski, wat r u talking about, we can handle this,

putting his hand around his shoulder, but he quickly took it off as rahul gave him the "i will beat the crap out of u if u dont take that hand off her" look and so he backed away, while a crazy Rahul gave him the "thank u, now i dont have to break all the bones in ur body" look

zara: hey guys, armaan aur riddhima agaye

imi: paper ko kahi chupao!

the gang started to run around like it was a game of cat and mouse being played. Imraan took the mission paper and folded it enough that it would go into his pocket,

riddhima sat down with the group while armaan went with imraan to get everyone coffee,
everyone had noticed that riddhima had been looking a bit different, the shine that was there from before had started to come back, she also had a small smile playing on her lips, but that didnt stop the group, they were determined to get back their old riddhima, for good!

riddhima: hey guys

sahil: hum ne koi plan nahi banaya!
he yelled, as he was caught off guard,

nikki and zara banged there heads aginst the palms of their hands while rahul stomped onhis foot underneath the table, bringing him back to his senses,

Sahil: i mean hey, ridzi, coffee logi?
(offering her his coffee)

Riddhima looking at with her eyebrows raised and a confused look
riddhima: ah, no thanks (givnig him a small smile)
weren't u guys supposed to be at school, like didnt some of u have practice, and studying to do

Sahil: practice cancel hogayi....

Isha: aur humne socha ki weekend hai, chalo kuch masti karte hai, how about a picnic ridzi? it will be fun

Riddhima: picnic? umm.....

by now armaan and imraan had come back with all the coffees, and were handing them out,
actually they both had left together so imraan can fill armaan in to wat the plan was,

armaan: so wats going on?

Muski: we all r going on a picnic! rite ridzi?

Riddhima: i guess, but i really dont feel like going

armaan: oh come on sweets, its just a picnic, u'll get some fresh air, and u'll feel better

zara: sweets? tum kabse riddhima ko sweets boulane lage?

armaan: mein toh sabku sweets boulata ho, kyu koi problem hai?
looking back and forth between Zara, and riddhima

Zara: no just asking...
she started to smile to herself knowing something was up, something had started to happen

Zara: by the way how is ur hand?

armaan: its good but occasionally it pains

imraan: okay, so its decided, Were going on a picnic tomorrow!!



Next Morning

this morning was like all mornings, the sun was shinning, birsd were chirping, and tanvi was yelling louder than the noise that came from a train,
This was the sound that riddhima had woken up to, that had broken her dream about armaan.

riddhima: oh god, not again,

she rushed out of her bed and went straight to the kitchen in which she filled 2 glasses with cold water, and rushed to where the loud yells were coming from. she quickly handed them the glasses, and calmed both, tanvi and nani,

she then went to the washroom to freshen up,
in about 10 mins she was out and she headed straight towards the dinning area, she picked up the plates and mats, and had started washing the dishes,
after that she cleared the counters and to make some pakoras for nani and tanvi to eat later on with there food,
she had stared to fall deep into her thoughts forgetting that the oil was hot,
as she was about to drop the potato covered with batter, she suddenly remembered her dream

riddhima: oh god, i was dreaming about armaan, wat is wrong with me, ajj kal mein uski bara mein itna kyu sochti ho?

the potato fell from the spoon into the oil, which created the hot oil to splatter all over the place, causing droplets of oil to land on riddhima's hand which burnt the spot.

Riddhima: ahhh! (holding her hand) arrey yaar, yeh kya huwa

she quickly ran her hand in cold water and finished off cooking, when all the cleaning and cooking was done, she ran upstairs to get ready for the picnic, as the car was going to come any minute,

she went and got ready wearing a red kurta and black denim jeans just like in her dreams. she made the excuse of going to study with her friends in the library and went out, waiting for the car to come


They gang had gone to a famous lake in which they had a lt of fun, there was a lot splashing, and many tricks in which the girls had ended up in the water, LOL
riddhima had started to smile as she saw everyone playing around,

armaan: hey, sweets, can u plz pass me my hand towel
he asked from in the water,

riddhima went and eextended her with the towel, but armaan is armaan,
instead of grabbing the towel, he grabbed her hand and pulled riddhima into the water,

riddhima completly shocked as armaan did it, started hitting him in water,

riddhima: thats not funny armaan,

but she herself was laughing

and thats how the day passed, later on in the evening, they went to a restaurant, to end the day with a beautiful dinner, they entered the persephone restaurant, the smell of wonderful food filled their noses,

riddhima: yeh hum kaha agaye? yeh bohut expensive lagraha hai

imraan: its okay rids, dont worry, humne sub kuch sochliya hai, aur already pay be karli hai

riddhima: lekin...

greeter: may i take ur jackets?

everyone took their jackets off and handed thm to the greeter as he took them away to the cloakroom, another waiter came and showed them their table, as they arrived at the table the food had been already there waiting for soemone to eat, the aroma of the food had already reached the guys noses and they had already grabbed there seats and looked like they were going to jump on the food any second.

when they had settled down and had started eating, the waiter had brought there drinks,

some of the girls had finished eating, and had noticed that riddhima looked extremely happy, she was swaying to the gently music that was being played, and had a huge grin on her face, all looked at her and knew that there plan was successful

sahil was about to drink his coke when he smelled something, something that he shouldnt have,

sahil: hey guys, stop! our drinks..... smell them

everyone lifted there cups and smelled there drinks

nikki: oh god, this is not coke, this is alchol!

armaan: excuse me waiter,

waiter: yes,

armaan: i think there has been some confusion, we didnt order any alcohol, we had coke, plz make sure that this carelessness doesnt happen again

waiter: yes sir, can i get all your cups,

all of them handed their cups

waiter: umm sir, i only got 8 cups here, there were 9

all had started to look around, to find one empty glass, the more shocking thing was that the glass was infront of riddhima,

i know u guys hate me at the moment as its late, but its not my fault and i can prove it, my mom had taken me to an uncles house to stay at for a couple of days, and so i wasnt able to post it on time....i know its another excuse.....but plz do accept it, i promise to never make another excuse again, and i never break a promise, and i'll post my replies in the next one as well,

Part 13

Sanjeevani – Terrace

Armaan was still comforting riddhima as she was crying non-stop
Arm – riddhi... riddhi.. hum doctors hai.. aise halaate humari zindagi mein aksar aayegi.. kyat um har wakt aise hi roti rahogi?
Ridz was sobbing
Arm – waise.. aise roti hue bahut innocent dikhti ho (riddhima gives a very short and little laugh at his remark) lekin phir bhi, tumhe aaj ke haadse ko apna inspiration banana chahiye... basket.. (lifting her head from his shoulder) you understand what im trying to say na?
Ridz stopped crying as armaan’s words sank in her head – ya... (nodding weakly)
Arm smiled (showing his cute dimples) – that’s my basket (hugging her again)
Riddhima was very happy although the incident because now she found out that armaan cared about her... armaan on the other hand was confused to why he was hugging her but his heart kept telling him that he should keep hugging her. Although he thought he was just friends with her, he could not see ridzy in pain.
Arm – now show me your colgate white teeth... Aaaaa
Rid – (playfully punched him on the shoulder)
Arm – (trying to cheer up the mood) ouch.. riddhima... what’s your problem?
Rid – huh?? (confused)
Arm – ek to maine tumhari help ki aur tum mujhe hi maar rahi ho?
Rid – armaan!
Arm – haha (laughing) ab chalo.. I think humari night duty khatam ho gayi ho gi since the case is finished... (armaan started to leave)
Rid – armaan!
Armaan turned around.. – kya hua basket?
Rid – armaan.. woh,,, thanks (kind of blushing)
Arm – thanks kyu? Remember.. dosti mein no sorry, no thank you
Rid – I know.. lekin phir bhi
(both of their pager rings)
Arm – ab chalo.. dr.sashank ne hum dono ko unke cabin mein bulaaya hai
They leave for his cabin

Sashank’s Cabin

Armaan knocks on the door
Sas – yes doctors come in
Arm – dr.sashank.. kya kuch kaam tha?
Sas – actually yes.., both of you sit down
Rid – kya baat hai pap.... I mean dr. Sashank?
Sas – actually humari sanjeevani hospital ko ek foreign company ne sponsor karna chahta hai isliye hume do candidate chahiye jo responsible ho and dedicated to their work.. dr. Modi and dr. Malhotra are also both eligible, lekin maine aap dono ko isliye select kiya kyunki I need the other two interns to go to the sanjeevani orphanage.
Arm – that’s an honour for us dr.sashank
Rid – yes sir.. thank you for giving us the wonderful opportunity
Sas – don’t you guys want to know where you will be going?
Arm – where sir?
Sas – Canada
Armaan and riddhima look at each other then both say in unison – CANADA?
Sas – yes.. woh foreign ki company Canada main operate karti hai.. isliye.. any problems?
Rid – umm.. dr.sashank (hesitating)
Sas – I can be your dad right now riddhi
Rid – papa.. woh Canada bahot duur hai..
Sas – I know riddhi.. lekin ab aap badi ho gayi hai.. right.. yu’ll be fine.. aur dr.armaan bhi to hai tumhaare saath
Arm – yes sir.. don’t worry.. I will take care of her
Riddhima was so delighted when she heard ammy say that and armaan for some reason felt excited to be alone with ridz.
Sas – k then.. you guys should pack tomorrow.. aap dono ki flight kal raat ko hai..
Rid – yes dad
Sas – you can leave dr.armaan
Arm – ridd..
Sas – its ok.. main abhi ghar hi jaa raha hu.. she can come with me
Arm – ok sir..
Rid – bye armaan
Arm – bye ridz
Armaan leaves and riddhima is just looking at some files lying on sashank’s desk. Riddhima picks one up and reads it...
Rid – head nurse... padma bhushan...
Sashank was shocked – riddima!
Riddhima got scared and dropped the file – kya hua papa?
Sas- woh... file mujhe.. file mujhe de do
Rid – ok.. lekin kya hua?
Sas – woh .. kuch nahi..
Rid – lekin,
Sas – maine kaha na kuch nahi...
Rd – ok... anyways.. papa bahut der hogayi. Hume chalna chahiye
Sas – ya.. let’s go
Ridz and sashank also leave

On the way

Rid – papa.. padma bhushan kaun hai?
Sas – woh... iss hospital ki nayi head nurse hone vaali hai
Rid – puraani waali nurse ko kya hua? Retirement le liya?
Sas – you mean mrs. Khanna ki?
Ridz nods
Sas – (cheering the mood up) unhe to kab ka retirement le lena chaye tha.. lekin abhi bhi woh yehi kehti hai.. main to abhi sirf 57 yrs old hu.. main abhi jawaan hu... mrs. Khanna bhi na
Rid – lekin woh bahot acchi thi na papa..
Sas – looking at rids – ya..

They go home and ridz starts packing and is wondering how she will manage in Canada. She was worried and nervous but then a picture of armaan came in her mind which brought a lovely smile on her face. She wanted to tell armaan how much she loved him but was afraid of his rejection. She went to sleep thinkin about armaan and how she found out that he cared about her.

Sanjeevani

The interns meet up at the nurse station
Abhi – hi armaan, hi ridz
Nikki – hii (giving ridz a hug)
Armaan – hi...
Ridz – hii
Armaan yawns
Nik – yu guys must be so tired. Night duty main maza aaya tha?
Rid – nikki, it was so tiring.. main itni thak gayi hu.. aur we have to tell you something about us
Abhi and nikki stare at each other in disbelief – US?? You mean.. tum dono ek duusre ko chahte ho?
Armaan was shocked and started laughing whereas ridz was kind of scared as she couldn’t lie properly
Nikki and abhi were confused as to what they were hearing.. although abhi didn’t notice ridz, nikki knew sumthing was wrong with ridz so she decided to change the topic..
Nik – anyways.. agar yeh nahi kehna hai to kya kehna hai?
Arm – tum log bhi na, yeh kaise soch liya ki main aur basket.. py... (bursts out laughing) hahaha
Rid – (she knew he was not being mean but she felt humiliated) umm guys.. mujhe kucch kaam hai
Nik – (understanding her feelings to why she would want to leave) armaan, we are so stupid.. humme samajhna chahiye ki riddhima ki choice itni bhi bhuri nahi hai.... (hi fiving abhi)
Armaan gave abhi the cold stare but abhi ignored it
Arm – anyways.. that’s not the case... actually kal raat ko dr.sashank ne mujhe aur basket ko bataya ki hume Canada jaana hoga, kyunki ek company sanjeevani ko sponsor karna chahti hai.. aur hume unhe sab kuch information wagera de na hai
Nikki – that’s awsum!
Abhi – that’s kool dude... yur lucky.. mujhe bhi jaana hai
Nik – dun wry abhi, we’ll go together
Abhi was flattered and he was so happy that it took dr.muskaan’s loud scream to get him back on earth
Mus – doctors! Aap logo ka discussion khatam ho gaya ho to ab kaam kare?
Interns – yes ma’am.. (they get in a line)
Mus – now.. since dr.armaan and dr.riddhima will be gone to Canada for the next few weeks, dr.nikita and dr.abhimanyu, you both will go to the sanjeevani orphanage... from there you will set up various clinics around the villages to give the kids vaccinations and to help them if they are in need of something. Everyone will only have to do a half duty today because you are leaving.. so I will like dr. Riddhima and dr.nikita to work in the children’s ward while dr.armaan you will work in the general ward and you, dr.abhimanyu, have to do rectal exams as you had asked me to give you. Any questions?
Interns nod a no
Mus – you may all disperse


Part 14
Children’s Ward
Nikki was sure that riddhima was acting very different and because she thought that they were pretty close, nikki decided to talk to ridz about it..
Nikki – dr.riddhima
Riddhima turned around and looked at nikki but just then, armaan passed by and she looked at him.. nikki saw ridz gazing at someone behind her so she turned and saw ammy. Nikki was now almost 100% certain that something was going on between them
Nikki – ridzy! (in a whisper so the patients don’t hear her) main bulaa rahi hu.. armaan nahi
Rid – haa.. woh sorry (looking down)
Nik – jaldi se yeh test karwalo.. mujhe tumse kucch baat karni hai
Nikki and ridz finished their work and went to the terrace as nikki told her that it was private

Terrace

Rid – kya kaam tha nikki?
Nik – mujhe tumse kuch pucchna hai ridzy
Rid – (she was somewhat insecured) umm.. woh kya?
Nik – tum aur arma...
Rid – nikki mujhe kucch kaam yaad aaya hai.. mujhe jaana hoga (panicking)
Nik – ridzy (she said it with such a loving and affectionate voice that ridz stopped midway) agar tum mujhe nahi batana chahti to theek hai lekin kam se kam mujhse jhuut to mat bolo
Rid – (she felt so loved and happy that she had a friend like nikki who understood her) nikki.. woh... tum promise karo ki tum kissi se bhi ye baat nahi kahogi
Nik – I promise baba... ab to batao
Rid – umm.. woh.. (blushing a bit) I... main.. armaan...
Nik – TUM ARMAAN SE PYAAR KARTI HO?
Rid – sssshhhh dheere se bolo..
Nik – (whispering) tum armaan se pyaar karti ho?
Ridz nods and nikki is really happy that ridz told her who she likes.
Nik – you know what... main tumhari madat karugi
Rid – madat? Lekin kismet
Nik – arre buddhu.. we have to make him realise that he loves you as well
Rid – lekin (turning around) I don’t think armaan mujhe chahta hai.. I mean.. sirf main usse pyaar karti hu.. woh mujhe nahi
Right then, they hear a vase break.
Ridz and nikki turn around and are shocked to who they see there. They look at each other and mumble – armaan

Sashank’s Cabin

Sashank is busy looking at some files when there’s a knock on the door
Sas – come in
Person – sashank...
Sas – ( he recognized the voice immediately and stood up, ) tum?
Sashank went in flashback mode and got reminded of all the pain he had gone through
Person – ha main.. main yahaa kaam karne aayi hu...
Sas – lekin... tum... yeh nahi ho sakta (saying this he turned around)

Rahul’s cabin

Rah – wardboy, can you please tell dr.muskaan to come in my cabin
Boy – yes sir
The wardboy leaves and gives muskaan the message. Muskaan knocks on the cabin door and enters. Rahul looks up
Rah – tumhe knock karne ki zaroorat nahi hai muskaan
Mus – kya dr. Rahul mujhse baat karna chahta hai ya phir rahul?
Rah – sirf rahul (standing up)
Mus – kya kaam tha?
Rah – woh.. actually.. kya aaj raat ko tum free ho? I mean tumhare kuch plans hai?
Mus – nahi, kuch khaas to nahi hai.. kyun?
Rah – woh.. main soch raaha tha ki kyu na hum aaj raat dinner saath mein kare?
Mus – umm.. ya sure... kyu nahi
Rah – great.. to main tumhe pick karne aa jaaounga, theek saat baje.. be ready
Mus – ok.. to tab milte hai (turning to leave)
Rah – tum pucho gi nahi ki hum kaha jaa rahe he?
Mus – mujhe tum par puura bharosa hai rahul (blushing and leaving)
Rah – aaj to main tumhe meri dil ki baat bata kar hi rahuga (he thought that he said that to himself but muskaan had actually heard him so she was even more happy)

Terrace

Nik ridz – armaan (they mumbled)
Armaan was shocked.. his eyes were wide open and he quickly turned around and ran downstairs
Rid – dekha nikki, woh mujhse pyaar nahi karta.. usse to mujhse kahi acchi ladki mil jaayegi... he deserves much better than me.. ab pata nahi main uske saamne kaise jaa paungi (she said while sobbing a bit)
Nik – ridzy im sure ki woh aisa nahi soch raha hoga
Rid – agar aisi baat nahi hai to phir woh aise kyu bhaag gaya?
Nik – ridzy..
Rid – nahi nikki.. ab meri duty finish ho gayi hai.. main ghar jaa rahi hu.. bye (wiping off her tears)
Nik – ridzy.. meri baat to sun (trying to stop her from leaving)
But nikki was too late, ridz had already started walking fast. When riddhima was walking throught the corridor to drop some things in her locker, she saw armaan sitting on a bench far away holding his hands on his head as if he was in a great deal of stress. This gesture of armaan’s hurt riddhima even more.

Armaan returns to his house and goes inside
Nik – hi armaan!
Abhi – armaan? Armaan kaha se aagaya (he was without his glasses)
Arm – abbey yaar.. chashme ke bina to ye bilkul andha ho jaata hai
Abhi – (puts on his glasses) oh.. hi ammy
Nik – its too bad ki ridz ko jaana pada...
Arm – yup.. lekin duty calls yu know.. anyways.. hum log ab game start karte ha..
Nik – yu mean resume right?
Abhi gulps
Nik – to abhi, I dare you to... I dare you to ask Dr.Muskaan for only rectal exams this whole week!! (she starts laughing hysterically)
Armaan eventually starts laughing too.. but abhi’s face was worth watching.. his jaw was wide open... he was shocked
Abh – wat.. that.. that’s just stupid.. mein aisa kucch nahi karne waala..
Nik – (controlling her laughter) too bad... dare hai.. agar nahi karsakte to bata do na...
Arm – nahi woh karega... abhi (staring at abhi)
Abh – lekin kyun? Yeh kaisi dare hai?
Nik – agar darte ho to aisa hi boldo na.. bahaane kyun banarahe ho?
Abh – im not scared ok
Nik – then do the dare (smiling as she knew abhi will do the dare)
Abhi – whatever... lekin ab tum bhi dekhna... tumhaari baari aayegi tab tumhe kaisi dare deta hoon
Arm – wow.... to abhi.. get ready for rectal exammsss.... (hi fives nikki)
Abhi – armaan... tu bhi iske saath?
Arm – sry dude.. haalat hi kuch aise the...
Abh – ya sure...
Arm – ok... so ab phirse spin the bottle
This time the bottle landed on Armaan’s side.. so armaan got a dare from Nikki
Nik – armaan!!!! Tumhe hai na.. pata hai kya karna hoga? (she said very sweetly)
Arm – (raises his eyebrow as he knows that nikki is no where close to innocent)
Nik – tumhe.. 200 push ups karne hoge!!! (acting superior)
Arm - :O... (laughs) theek hai.. here it goes..
Armaan did 200 push ups and when Nikki expected him to stop, he just kept going and going until he did 350 push ups
Nikki was surprised...
Abh – nikki.. don’t be surprised.. college me ye dude like 500 push ups karta tha
Nik – wow... I feel sorry for the person who will get you mad

Abhi – tumhe darr to nahi lagega na?
Nik – no way... mein dartti nahi hu
Arm – I know, darati ho
Nikki slaps armaan and says shut up armaan
Arm – ouch (pretending to be in pain) im sorry...
Nikki –watever.. to kaho.. mujhe kya karna hai?
Abhi – you have to... tumhe...
Nikki was somewhat scared inside because she knew that after what she had done, he is going to give her an even worse dare
Abhi (mujhe to isse kuch aisa dena chahiye joy eh kabhi nahi kar paaye.. mujhe rectal exams de rahi hai... now watch...)
Abhi – yu have to.. (he was about to say something when he looked at nikki.. he melted right away and forgot about the dare he was about to give her so then armaan jumped in to tell her the dare)
Arm – tumhe mere attic main ek poori raat guzaarni hogi
Abhi and nikki – WHAT? (they were both surprised)
Nik – yeh kaisa dare hai?
Abhi – yaa.. man that;s not fair...
Arm – dude (he pulls abhi over) tu yeh keh raaha hai? Isne tujhe rectal exams diye ha.. yaad hai ki nahi?
Abhi - I know dude lekin..
Arm – yo..
Abhi – fine... theek hai..
Arm – so nikki, are yu up for the challenge?
Nikki – armaan thats a stupid dare...
Abhi – to.. mera dare bhi stupid hai.. lekin main to karunga right..
Nikki – fine... (she speaks after thinking) tumhaara attic haunted to nahi hai na?
Arm – lagta hai tumne paranormal activity dekha hai...
Abh – nikki aise kucch nahi hai.. infact its not even close to scary..
Nikki – theek hai.. lekin agar kucch hua to main tum dono ko nahi chodungi
Arm – fine.. but take my word on it, uppar tumhe darne ki zaroorat nahi hai.. lekin ha, agar by chance koi bhoot woot aa gaya to mujhe mat kehna..
Nikki – uppar bhoot hai?
Arm – (starts laughing)
Nikki gives him her stern look and he eventually shuts up
Nikki – k guys.. mein jaa rahi hu

Part 11
Sanjeevani – General Ward
Rid – nurse, zara mujhe ye naye patient ki file to dena
Nur – ji dr.riddhima
The nurse hands her the file..
Rid – to Mr. Nana Deshpande (walking towards his bed) aap hai right?
Nan – ha.. main hu nana... tumhe pata hai mujhe pehtees filme aur pacchis nataak ka experience hai, yeh to sirf mera haath tutgayya isliye.. warna nana.. aur woh bhi hospital mein.. kabhi nahi..
Nana was actually screaming his lines as if he were acting so the patients around him started to look at him. Dr. Muskaan happened to pass by
Mus – yeh kya ho raha hai yahaan? (entering the ward)
(imagine dr.keerti’s background music)
All the patients quickly lie down and nana gets scared and pulls his blanket over his head
Mus – dekhiye... mr. (looking at his file) mr. Deshpande, (gets frustrated because nana still didn’t come out of the cover) yeh chaddar utthaye apne sar se
Nana takes it off
Mus - aap yahaa aise shore nahi macha sakte kyunki Sanjeevani ek hospital hai, aapka koi drama ya theatre production nahi jaha aapke paas chilaane ki ijaazat hai.. ainda agar aisa kuch hua, to aapko is ward mein se nikaala jaayega....
Nana was fiddling with his fingers during Dr. Muskaan’s lectures but then he looked up and amazingly, he felt as if he had been jolted with a bolt of electricity. He kept staring at her face...
Nana – hahaa ... (the embarrassment laugh) sorry ... woh... ab aisa nahi hoga... (looks at the other patients) app logon ko maine kitni baar samjhaya hai... yeh hospital hai.. (talking to muski) yeh log to sunte hi nahi.... lekin aap chinta mat kariye... main sab ko samjhadonga..
(he feels something for Muski... like how he was with dr.keerti in dmg... but let me remind yu... muski is older in this.. so don’t think that he’s hitting on an intern ;)
Rahul was watching all this and he didn’t like the way nana was acting so he decided to come in the ward as well..
Rah – dr. Muskaan.. main kya aap se baat karsakta hu?
Mus – ha... kya hua?
Rah – private mein (stressing the word private)
Muskaan and rahul both go to rahul’s cabin
Armaan’s House
Nikki went up in the attic and then she settled up there.. she took her iphone with her so she wouldn’t get bored and start getting scared... she kept playing games and listening to music on her phone while the guys got ready to sleep
Abh – armaan.. r yu sure ki nikki hteek hogi? I mean humme dekhna chahiye.. shayad usse andhere se darr lagta hoga.. chal na
Arm – abbey yaar.. kaise dude hai tu? Chill man.. usse kuch nahi hoga.. woh sirf mere attic main he, waha koi bhoot ya monsters nahi hai ki usse dar lagega
Abh – phir bhi.. hum eek baar dekh lena chahiye.. to be on the safe side
Arm – abhi... stop it aur so ja... woh bilkul theek hai.... so just stop ok...
Abhi knew there was no point in arguing so he went to sleep..
Arm – (to himself) yeh abhi bhi na.. khud to kuch hoga nahi isse.. mujhe hi kuch karna hoga.. kya karuu??? .. (looks around) idea!!! (he gets up from his bed)
Rahul’s Cabin
Mus – kya hua dr.rahul?
Rah – umm.. yu can just say rahul right now.. tu jab mujhe dr.rahul bulaati hai to ajeeb lagta hai... I mean jab .. as in .. like akele main.. yu know
Mus – ha.. ok then.. rahul.. kya hua? Tumhe kya baat karni thi?
Rah – woh aaj nan (looked at muskaan’s face and lost his words) woh.. aaj.. tum bahut khoobsurat lag rahi ho muskaan
Mus – (blushing) thanks ...
Rah – (moving his hand through his hair) no problem...
Mus – sirf yeh kehne ke liye bulaaya? (hoping that rahul says no and they get to spend more time with each other)
Rah – ha... wait. Nahi... main keh raha tha ki.. tumhe woh general ward ...se... usse duur rehna chahiye
Mus – kyu? (confused)
Rah – woh.. actually aaj jis tarah mr.deshpande tumhe dekh rahe the
Mus – (she was really happy that rahul was being somewhat possessive) ha.. lekin mujhe waha to jaana hi hoga.. I mean rahul.. mein ek senior doctor hu.. mujhe to sab wards mein duty karni padti hai..
Rah – muskaan is bare mein hum behas nahi kare to accha hai.. aur haan.. agar tumhe kuch general ward mein karna ho to tum mujhe keh sakti ho... lekin tum waha nahi jaa sakti
(rahul’s behaviour is very possessive in my ff)
Mus – ok.. thand rakh.. itna kyun ghussa ho raha hai?
Rah – (getting frustrated) tumne dekha nahi woh tumhe kaise dekh raha tha? (literally screaming at her)
Mus – woh..
Rah – actually sorry muskaan.. main woh..
Mus – its ok... (she knew that rahul was very possessive)
Right then her pager rings...
Mus – to main chalti hu...
Rah – ok.. bye muskaan
Mus – bye....
Mus – to herself : main usse kitna pyaar karti hu.. lagta ahi woh bhi mujhse pyaar karta hai.. lekin kuch bolta kyun nahi? Apne pyaar ka izhaar kyun nahi karta?
Rah – to himself : mujhe ab muskaan se kehna hi hoga ki main usse pyaar karne laga hu... woh mana to nahi karegi kyunki mujhe yakeen hai ki woh bhi mujhse pyaar karti hai... kuch karna padega
Armaan’s House
Arm – the plan is in action.... (laughing his evil but cute laugh) hahaha

Part 12
Armaan’s house
Armaan silently rose up and creeped up to the attic to start his plan. He entered the attic and kept the attic door open so when nikki will scream, (armaan was hoping she would or else his plan would fail) abhi would hear and come running to save her. Armaan started to make some bhoot waale sounds... nikki was sleeping while listening to music so armaan decided to take the piece of eraser that was lying on the floor and threw it on nikki
Arm – perfect aim (hitting nikki on the arms with the eraser)
Nikki jerked up.. – huh... woh kyat ha?
Arm chuckled silently and started with his plan
Arm – booooo , whoooooosssshhhhhhhhhh
Nik – abb.. bb.. bhooooottt.... bachaoo.. BACHAOOOOOOO!!!! ABHIII./.. ARMAAN... ABHI JALDI AAO
Abhi heard nikki scream and panicked. He truned around to wake armaan up but didn’t see him in his bed and freaked out even more. Abhi ran to the attic to see why nikki was screaming.. he was about to open the door when nikki came out and fell on top of him.. they rolled on the ground, finally stopping. Abhi was on top of nikki, he was staring at her face as she panted while nikki had closed her eyes as she thought he was a bhoot. Abhi did not want to ruin her facial expressions so he didn’t tell nikki that he was abhi
Nikki was really scared and then after a while, realized that whoever was on top of her is not hurting her so she gathered up her courage and opened her eyes. All she saw was abhi smiling and staring at her face.
Nikki – ABHI (she got angry) to tumne mujhe bewakoof banane ke liye yeh stupid sa prank khela mere saath? (saying all this in one breath)
Abhi came back “down to earth” and replied – nikki.. nikki chill.. maine kuch nahi kiya.. (getting off of her) main to soraha tha aur phir tumhari cheekhne ki awaaze aayi isliye main idhar aaya
Nikki – tumne nahi kiya?
Abhi – maine kya kiya? Aur tum kyu chilla rahi thi?
Nikki – abhii!! Chalo, yaha se bhaag jao... yaha bhoot ahi.. armaan ko bol do... ki uske attic main paranormal activity chal rahi hai
Armaan was listening to their convo and couldn’t stop from laughing out loud
Nikki and abhi heard him laugh and nikki was furious...
Nikkii - ARMAAAAANNNN (shouting at the top of her lungs)
Armaan came down and couldn’t stop his laughter
Arm – tum to bahot.. bahot bahadur ho... hahahaha.. paranormal activity
Even abhi was glad that armaan pulled the prank because he got a chance to be with nikki... but nikki was enraged
Nik – tumhe yeh mazaak lagta hai? Tum sab ladke.. sab ke sab ek number ke idiots ho te hein.. seriously...
Abhi – maine kya kiya?
Nikki – oh ya.. tumne to kuch bhi nahi kiya... tum to bahot acche ho... stupid idiots..
Arm - whatever.. tum ladkiyan bhi pata nahi apne aap ko kya samjhti hai.. pura din make up laga ke ghoomti ho aur jab yeh make up nikal ta hai... to apna shakal dikha ke hume darrati ho
(armaan hi fives abhi)
Nikki – you... (she grabs the pillow that was lying around and ran after armaan to hit him)
Armaan was really close to getting hit by her.. but then his pager rang
Arm – nikki wait... (getting serious)
He looked at the pager and it said “ICU Emergency... Report ASAP”
Arm – guys I have to go... icu mein emergency hai.. aur waha senior doctors ke saath riddhima akeli hai.. I have to go.. I’ll see you both tomorrow.. kk
Abhi – ok dude.. bye
Nikki –take care..
Armaan leaves and nikki and abhi go to sleep.. by the way.. nikki didn’t sleep in the attic after that :P
Sanjeevani – ICU
Armaan reaches the ICU but is somewhat late... the nurse informs him that riddhima has already taken the patient to the operation room, assisting dr. Sapna (just another senior doctot)
Armaan views the operation and hopes that riddhima is doing fine under the immense pressure... unfortunately she wasn’t
Riddhima was trying very hard with Dr. Sapna, but the patient was not responding well.
Sap – dr.riddhima, (with an urgency in her voice) patient ko CPR, NOW!
Rid – yes dr.sapna..
Riddhiam starts doing the CPR but the patient is not getting any better, ridz sees that the heartbeats of the patient has gone but she is still trying.. she thought that she could bring the patient back..
Sap – its over dr.riddhima
Rid – no ma’am.. there’s a chance... main koshish karti hu
Sap – ab kuch nahi ho sakta dr.riddhima
Rid – no ma’a...
Sap – Dr. Riddhima Gupta, the patient is dead...
Riddhima was shocked... so was armaan. Armaan knew that riddhima was a very caring and gentle girl so he knew that she would not be able to face the reality of what just happened
Sap – you may leave... good try...
Riddhima stared into space and walked outside... she washed her hands, took off her gloves and mask.. and just walked straight, not realizing that armaan was standing right beside her.
Arm – riddhima... (gently touching her shoulder)
Rid – huh (looked at armaan)
Arm – are you okay?
Rid – ya.. woh.. juss.. juss leave me alone.. main akela rehna chahti hu (saying with a sobbing voice indicating that she was just about to break down)
Saying that, ridz speed walked to the terrace and thought of what just happned
Armaan thought of riddhima as his really close friend so he decided to follow her and go to the terrace as well... when he reached there.. he saw that she was just staring at the sky, lost in her world.. then ridz started to mumble some words
Rid- main... main usse.. nahi.. nahi.. baccha paii..
Armaan felt really bad for her as he walked towards ridz and put his arm on her shoulder. Riddhima turned around and faced armaan, she said nahi bacch pai again and then hugged him very tight.. feeling as if she is never going to let go. Armaan first felt very weird to her reaction but then got lost in the huig himself.. he wanted to never let go and tell ridz that he will never leave her side.. he felt this action of his as just something he would do for a friend, but he didn’t know how wrong he was. The jangli billi *urff* basket can never be just a friend
It was the beginning of a new love only the depths of it were not discovered yet

Part 17: The Surprise

The bell rang for the third time and finally getting pissed that no one else was answering the door, Shashank got up to look for himself who it was. He was irritated to get disturbed from the book he was reading. As he approached the door so did Padma from the kitchen and Anjali from her room. He frowned at them declaring tht they were late and himself opened the door.


Anjali's jaw dropped open as she saw Atul standing at the door. Her heart began to race and her pulse began to sink. She inhaled deeply to ensure she wasn't in a dream. She knew by the look on his face y he was there and was shocked tht he had managed it so soon. She thought it would be atleast a month before he spoke to Shashank n Padma.

"Are Dr. Atul.....so glad to see u....pleasant surprise...plz come in" Atul stepped in as Shashank greeted him wid a hug. Shashank had alwaz admired the boy. Inspite of the ups n downs of his life Atul had managed to make a place for himself n prove himself. Shashank was proud of having him as a student n now as doctor at his hospital.

He wished Padma, took her blessings and they three moved towardz the living room as Anjali stood rooted to the spot.

"Anjali beta...get some refreshment ...Atul has come home for the first time......Anjali????"

"Haa??? ya...yeah papa...i will jus get it....." saying so she started towardz the kitchen but...

"One minute Anjali....Sir actually i wanted to talk to u something n it would be good if Anjali was present here....."

"Ofcourse ofcourse...but let her get some snacks for us...otherwise the talk will get boring ......"

"Yes Sir..."

"Anjali returned with a tray of snacks her hands literally shivering.

"Anjali are u sick??"

" no mom...i am fine..."

"Soo Atul...u had to talk something?"///shashank asked smiling as by now he was aware wat was coming. He was too glad about it.

"Err yes sir...err actually...." suddenly his couraged seemed to have drained out and he looked up at Anjali sitting on the opposite couch. She was blushing red and looking down.

Atul's strength came back. He knew he coudn't disappoint her. She was the only one on whom he could shower his love and in no way was he going to let her down.

"Sir .....if u wdn't mind.......i mean u know i dun have a family or anything behind my back.. ...so i understand tht u can have objections but sir....errr.......I.......I love Anjali n i wanto marry her..."

He looked down as though expecting Shashank to give him the verdict. Shashank smiled , looked at his daughter, who also was looking down n blushing. He knew she was happy about it. He looked at padma who nodded in approval.

"Hmmm....I wasn't expecting this from you Atul"...he said finally.

Atul din look up nor did Anjali. She curled her fingerz tensed.

"I understand sir that maybe i am not eligible for......"...He coudnt continue as shashank cut him short.

"Who r u to decide that???..well i am disheartened tht how did u say u dun have a family??? Aren't we ur family...i mean atleast me Padma n Riddhima.....as if Anjali cums in the line thn she comes in as a sister whch i am sure u both wdnn't be glad abt....would u??

They both looked up n saw Shashank n Padma smiling at them.

"Well if my smile isn't enough for answer then i would put it in wordz...i would be glad to have u as my daughterz life .....i know u will alwaz keep her happy coz u know what happiness ....i dunu ur background or ur family chain Atul...but tht doesn't matter ....my daughter will be happy wid u......n ur never alone...we as a family r alwaz wid u...so its a yes from my side...."

"Thank you sir"..was all Atul could manage to say.

"Are ab to papa boldo..."

"Jee papa"...they pulled into a hug as Anjali ran to her room.

"Anjali???" Atul called out as he enterd her room. After his detailed talk wid Shashank abt his further plans he took thr permission to meet Anjali n they allowed him.

"Hmmm???" she replied. She was standing near the window looking up at the moon.

Atul went up to her n said turning her towardz him....

"Dun let the moon look at u so long...what if it gets jealous?"

She hugged him tightly as he hugged her back.

"I love you Anjali"

"I love you too"

Armaan sat quietly in his bed thinking about Muskaan. All that Riddhima had told them about Muskaan where ringing some bells in his mind. But he was unable to track them down. He knew he was missing some link somewhere. And he had a feeling that the missing link was the only way for Rahul and Muskaan to reconcile. He sighed looking at Rahul sitting on the couch looking as though he had lost the biggest battle of life.

"Buddy dun lose hope."

Rahul looked up n smiled weakly.

"She isn't ready to even see my face Armaan. She won't let me talk to her. I know i have hurt her but she isn't giving me a chance to explain."

"I know man...give her sometime. She needs to get over it"

"But Armaan whats my mistake if i am rich? U know y we both are here on this cruise project when we could have been anywhere else in the world enjoying a vacation. But i dun regret it any way. We wanted to prove our individuality. But she doesn't look at tht Armaan. She just looks at the fact i am rich. For heavens sake...even ur rich....does tht mean Riddhima leave u??

"No buddy...but Riddhima doesn't hate rich people in particular. But Muskaan has reasons. I dun think Riddhima will ever object tht i am rich. Or infact we r rich. Coz our dads r equal partners n so r we."

"What??"...They both turned around as they heard Riddhima's furious voice and saw her storming out of the room. Armaan looked at Rahul n he looked back wid a amused expression on his face.

"Ok man...we r in the same boat now"

Armaan slumped deeper into the bed. Now what??He silently prayed she was not as stubborn as Muskaan, for he knew if he would speak his thought out loud,he wouldn't live to even face Riddhima for Rahul would have murdered him right there.

"Ok...lets get our mission started then. Mission Reconcile"

Riddhima jumped with joy reading her email. Finally Atul had done it. Anjali had mailed her everything and also said how happy mom n dad were. She was happy to know tht her dad hadn't objected on Atul not having a family. Anjali had send her every minute detail and she was simply out of the world wid joy. She hoped the same when Armaan would talk to them. Armaan. Her smile faded as she remebered he had lied to her. So he n Rahul were actually sons of buissness partnerz n not jus managerz here. No wonder they have controls even managers dun have. Rahul had a logic bhind not telling Muskaan. But what was Armaan's logic??

She frowned as she thought deeper abt it.

"You dun look good with tht frown honey"

She looked at the source of the voice n saw him smiling naughtily at her. Her heart skipped a beat but she neglected it n frowned deeper. He had lied to her. She reminded herself.

"What do you want?" She asked curtly.

"I want you.." He said coming closer.

She pushed him off n moved a lil away.

"I don't talk to liars."

"But let me explain.."

"Explain what?? Rahul had a reason ..but what abt u??? where u testing tht whetehr i fall for u or ur money?"

"No Riddhima.."..he said rather shocked. "Listen to me once baby."

"I dun want to...atleast not right now....coz i am happy....n i dun want u to spoil tht."

Saying so she left without signing out her account in the fury.

Armaan looked at her retreating and wondered what was she happy about tht could be more important than talking to him. He glanced at the laptop and saw her mails open. As a gentleman he would have simply signed out but as Armaan Mallik...his cheekiness jus din allow tht and he read the mail she was reading when he had disturbed her.

And he got it. All the bells ringed the same rhythm and he found his missing link.

Part 7 - 9: Saccha Pyaar

As soon as vivek tried to stab him, armaan ducked down and then punched vivek in the stomach. His blow was so fatal that vivek was literally thrown away from armaan. Armaan didn’t want to create a scene so he was walking back to his car when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
Vivek – Do you think you’re very smart? Apne aap ko kya samajh te ho?
Saying that, vivek took his knife and cut armaan on the arm. Then vivek committed his biggest mistake. He started saying cheap things about ridz. Oh how armaan was enraged.
Vivek – waise woh riddhima cheez hi kuch aisi hai. Ek raat mere saat bitaaye to kya hoga?
Armaan was so angry that despite of his arm that was bleeding from the cut, he started punching vivek.
Armaan – tumhari himmat kaise huye riddhima ke bare main aisa bolne ki?
Vivek – im sorry.. woh main sirf.. woh
Armaan was about to grab vivek’s knife and kill him when the police came.
Police – yeh kya ho raha hai? Tum lad kyu rahe ho?

Armaan turned his head and at that moment, vivek tried to stab him as he didn’t see the police. As soon as he tried to do that, armaan got up so the police could see that it was vivek who was trying to kill armaan. The police then arrested vivek and left, advicing armaan to go to a hospital.
Gupta House
*Ding Dong*
Ridz opened the door
Rid – armaan.. tum yaha kya karahe ho? Aur tumhe kya hua? Apna haath kyun aise pakda hua hai?
Arm – woh riddhima actually, woh..
Armaan was trying to explain the situation when he got a sudden sting of pain
Arm – aaaahhhh
Rid – kya hua? Armaan.. tumhara .. tumhara.. haath!
Arm – ha wo.. main jab aa raha tha to w—
Rid – chup ho jaao. Aur jaldi andar aao.. main tumhare haath ki dressing kardeti hu
Arm – its okay. I’ll do it myself basket
Rid – tum chup raho. Mujhe kucch sunna nahi hai. Theek hai
Arm – ok.
Armaan put a finger on his lip. Riddhima found it amusing and smiled, not revealing how much pain she was actually going through just to see armaan like that.
Riddhima finished dressing armaan’s wound.
Rid – to ab bolo, yeh sab kaise hua?
Arm – (trying to change the topic) basket.. tum ready nahi ho? Maine kaha tha na.. main tumhe pick up karne aaunga.
Rid – shut up armaan.. don’t change the topic..
Arm – im not changing the topic basket.
Rid – armaan, its not funny
Arm – when did I say it was funny?
Riddhima was somewhat angry as armaan never took her seriously so she ran away from the room and started crying. Armaan had followed her and heard her crying.
Rid – armaan, main tumhe kaise batao ki tumhe aise dekh ke mujhe kitna dard hota hai...
Armaan never heard what she said but he had a heavy heart after he heard rids cry. he couldn’t bear the fact the riddhima was crying because of him.
Arm - *knocking on her door* basket.. please bahar aao. Im sorry
Rid - *she stopped crying and opened the door* chalo.. tumhare ghar jaana hai..
Arm – basket ruko. Main tumhe batata hu ki kya hua tha.. lekin uske baad tum please mujhse naraaz mat rehna.
Rid – theek hai
Armaan told her what happened and riddhima was frightened. Armaan noticed that so he went close to her and pulled her into a hug.
Arm – riddhima, main tumhe promise karta hu, mere hone tak koi bhi tumhare saath kuch bhi galat nahi kar sakta. Trust me.

Armaan winced in pain.

Arm – (smiled at her innocence) chill basket.. its okay..

Riddhima was walking in front of him and suddenly, a rush of wind came and blowed her hair on his face.
Armaan was just lost in a world. A song started playing in his dream world.

Riddhima realised that armaan had stopped walking so she went back in her house and was about to talk to armaan when she slipped. She closed her eyes but found strong muscular hands on her waist. She opened her eyes and got lost in the blue eyes of the most cute and handsome guy she had ever known.

Armaan was gazing into her eyes intently. He had never seen a girl look so pretty in a suit ever before. He used to think that love was only a thing that happened in movies, but he started realising how wrong he was.

They were standing like the final pose of the Dancing Jodi in RNBDJ. They spent 10 minutes like that, lost in their own world, but then armaan’s phone rang.
Armaan was feeling guilty as he thought that riddhima would be angry at him. Riddhima was blushing red as those were the best 5 minutes she had in her whole entire life.

They sat down in his car and were quiet for the whole road. They finally reached armaan’s house. They got out of the car, and ridz was about to walk when armaan spoke up.
Arm – riddhima, I’m relly sorry about what happened. I mean,... maine .. woh.. actually
Rid – its not your fault.. ab chalo.. andar chalte hai
They entered his house and then just went to sit in his living room.
Before entering, riddhima had to go freshen up so she went to the washroom. Armaan went to the living room and saw nikki talking to abhi. But armaan could tell that abhi was paying no attention to nikki’s chats. He was too busy looking at nikki’s face reveal meny expressions. Armaan didn’t want to disturb the moment so he was about to turn around when..
Nik – hi armaan!
Abhi – huh (lost) ohh. Hi armaan
Arm – hi guys! Wats up?
Nikki – kucch nahi..
Abhi – nothing much.. well, where’s riddhima?
Arm – she’s coming.. she’s freshening up..
Nikki – to.. hum kya karne waale hai?
Arm – I don’t know.. you guys decide. Main abhi change karke aata hu.
Abhi – sure dude.
Armaan left to change into his night shorts and sleeveless shirt.
Nikki – so abhimanyu.. hume kya karna chahiye? I think ke hum eek game khelna chahiye.. what say ? (abhi wasn’t replying) abhimanyu.. abhimanyuu
Abhi – nikki, may I please ask you to do me a favour
Nikki – umm, okay.. kya chahiye tumhe?
Abhi – tum please mujhe abhimanyu mat bulaao. Mujhe ajeeb lagta hai.. call me abhi..
Nikki – but –
Abhi – I call you nikki right? To phir tum bhi mujhe abhi bulaao.. theek hai

Meanwhile Upstairs
Arm - aaj mujhe kya hogaya tha? Basket ko dekh ke mujhe kyu ajaab lagta hai?
At that moment, ridz stepped out of the bathroom in her cute pajamas. She was smiling to herself and armaan couldn’t keep his eyes off her. Riddhima noticed him and got conscious.
Rid – armaan.. armaan..
Armaan was lost in his own little dream world where he saw him and riddhima’s wedding pictures. To get armaan’s attention, riddhima snapped her fingers in front of armaan.
Rid – kaha khoye hue ho?
Arm – huh.. woh kuch nahi.. main to sirf aise hi kuch soch raha tha..
Rid – ok.. main niche jaati hu.. tum bhi jaldi aa jao.
Ridz went downstairs and armaan went to his room, both thinking about their future soulmates
Riddhima entered the living room.
Rid – hi!
Abhi – hi riddhima
Nikki got up and came to ridz and hugged her.
Nikki – hi ridzy.. kaisi ho?

Everyone was laughing at the silly act of abhi.
They were all bored and wanted to have fun so they then decided to play truth or dare..

Ridz was still surprised about what had happened earlier.

Nikki - to theek hai ab boys against girls.. agar hum jeet gayye to phir humaari kal ki night duties tumhe karni padegi aur agar tum jeet gayye to hum tumhaari duties karlenge..
Arm – why not.. accha deal hai ladkiyon se extra kaam karwaaneka
Armaan and abhi high fived each other
Nikki – are you guys okay? Ladkiya ladkon se better hai aur kuch ulta seedha bolna bhi mat.. theek hai..
Rid – nikki, hum in ladkon ko haara kar hi dikhayenge
Nikki nd ridz giggle while abhi gazes at nikki and armaan just thinks of plans to defeat the girls
Arm – abhi... ABHI (he screamed loud in abhi’s ear as he wasn’t paying attention)
Abhi – kya hua? Aise kyu chilla rahe ho?
Arm – lagta hai pyaar logon ko behra bana deta hai
Abhi – shut up aur bata.. kya plan hai?
Arm – accha.. toh sun.. humein kissi bhi haalat mein jeetna hai iss liye hum unhe aise dares dene hoge jo unse ho hi naa sake

Nikki started laughing and armaan rolled his eyes and spun the bottle

Abhi – woh.. (he knew that nikki was probably going to have a hard dare for him so he was hesitating) woh actually

Arm – (in a whispering tone) woh kya karsakte hai? Chyll dude
Abhi tried to look calm but he was dying inside.. he was wondering what kind of things nikki could ask him to do..

*Meanwhile in Sanjeevani*
Rahul – Dr. Muskaan... aaj hume ek intern ki zaroorat hogi kyunki Dr. Nita jo general ward mein duty karte hai woh aaj night duty nahi kasakti...
Mus – theek hai Dr. Rahul.. main abhi dr. Riddhima ko page karti hoon
Rah – woh hi theek hoga .. toh main chalta hoon.. mujhe thode test karwaane hai
Mus – okay.. bye (she pages ridz)
*Armaan’s House*

Arm – yeh kiska pager baj raaha hai?
Rid – woh mera... dr.muskaan ne mujhe abhi night duty ke liye bulaaya hai.. mujhe jaana hoga guys.. im sorry.
Nik – tum aise akele kaise jaa sakti ho ridz? Abhi ya armaan tumhe drop karne aayege...
Abh – that’s right.. itni raat ko tumhe akele nahi jaana chahiye
Rid – nahi theek hai.. main chali jaaungi
Arm – its ok basket. Main tumhe drop karne aata hun (he winks at abhi implying that abhi should try to find out more about nikki while he had the chance to so he could later on try to impress her)
Ridz and Armaan leave and go in Armaan’s car as Abhi and Nikki just talk about each other’s past.
Abhi – so you’re not born here?

Nikki – actually I am.. lekin mein jab grade 5 mein thi tab hum sab Canada move hogaye the kyunki mere dad ki family waha hai.. mujhe aur meri mom ko waha accha nahi lagta tha lekin we had no choice. Aur phir maine decide kiya ki mujhe india mein rehna hai aur actually my mom aws proud of me.. my dad was a bit hesitant lekin he loves me too much.. mujhe mana nahi karsakte hai (she laughs)
Abhi – tumhe Canada accha nahi laga?
Nikki – actually mujhe waha thoda akela mehsoos hota tha... you know.. Canada mein Indians hai lekin india is different.. You know what (she says after a pause) agar hum sab Canada saath mein gaye to kitna maza aayega!
Abhi was listening to her but got lost in her eyes that showed so much excitement just by the thought of everyone going to Canada together.
Nikki – tumhe pata hai mujhe mere parents ki bahut yaad aati hai (she was getting teary) I mean I love it in india lekin phir bhi, parents ke bina adhoora lagta hai.
Even abhi was feeling sad, anyone could tell that he was an emotional guy by looking at how his eyes were teared up

Abhi – you know actually mujhe bhi mere parents ki yaad aati hai lekin unhe to mera chehra bhi accha nahi lagta
Nikki was surprised when she remembered...
FLASHBACK:

Abhi – no its ok.. tum sab ab mere dost ho aur doston ko hak hota hai jaanne ka. To thik hai.. ab me start karta hu. Mein jab ek chotta baccha tha, mere parents mujhe bahut ignore karte the. Mujhe pata nahi ki ye sab unhone jaan buch ke kiya lekin kabhi bhi mere saat time spend nahi kiya. Mujhe kabhi bura nahi lagta par phir bhi mein har raat ko god se ek hi wish maangta, ke mere parents meri taraf thoda dhyaan de. Unfortunately wo kabhi nahi hua aur jab mein thoda bada hua, I think about 10 years old, mere parents ne divorce leliya. Aur phir wo dono ne decide kiya ki mein mere uncle ke pass rahu to jab se me chhota tha tabse me apne uncle ke saat rehta tha. Lekin ab mein akela rehta hu.

Nikki – you know what abhi, yur really a cute guy... (saying this she punches him lightly on the arm)
Abhi smiles at her and for the first time, Nikki feels different when she looked at him. She could tell that he was adoring her and for some reason, she didn’t mind him. They had an eye lock for quite a while when Nikki realized what was happening and changed the topic

Armaan’s Car
Rid – you know mein akeli jaa sakti hu right...
Arm – ya I know.. lekin bahut raat ho gayi hai plus mujhe abhi ki bhi help karni thi
Rid – abhi ki help? Kisme?
Arm – wohh.... (shocked as he was so close to revealing abhi’s secret) actually abhi ko... abhi ko woh.. ummm... (he didn’t know how to save himself so he started to change the topic by complimenting ridz) tum aaj kitni acchi lag rahi ho... I really like this colour... sauce wala laal (he winks at her)
Riddhima was feeling kind of bad for him because of “sauce wala laal”

FLASHBACK:

Arm – riddhima, ab to hum dost ban gaye hai right..
Rid – ya.. right..
Arm – to phir mera ek kaam karogi please
Rid – theek hai.. kya hai?
Arm – actually nikki ko ye letter de dena.. pleaaseeee.
Rid – sure (with a plan going in her head.. she grabs the letter)
Arm – thanks basket 
Rid – its ok... (acting innocent)

Armaan left the lockerroom as he was paged for duty
Riddhima went in armaan’s locker as he had left it open, and found a diary which contained all his girlfriend’s numbers... she had the most amazing and funny plan stored for armaan

Rid – ab aayega maza.. mujhe bahut sweet samajhte ho na dr.mallik, aaj mein tumhe bataaongi mein kitni sweet hu...

(the letter just had some sort of invitation to a date in a fancy restaurant for nikki saying that she should wear sauze wala laal as he loves that colour)
Instead of giving the letter to nikki, ridz made many copies of the letter and sent it all to his previous girlfriends...That night, armaan waited for nikki, but then was caught himself in middle of all of his previous gf’s wearing his favourite colourr..

FLASHBACK ENDS
Rid – woh.. I’m sorry about that
Arm – ya sure... anyways... its ok..
Rid – to tumne bataya nahi ki tum abhi ko kismet help karna chahte the?
Arm – wohh... (thinking again) yeh to uske picche hi pad gayyi : mutters under his breath
Rid – tumne kuch kaha?
Arm – nahi to.. woh... main keh raha tha ki.. yeh dekhoo.. sanjeevani aagaya! (he gets relieved)
Rid – ohh.. well bye.. and thanks a lot armaan
Arm – dosti mein no sorry no thank yu... (gives ridz his million dollar wink)
Ridz gets out and goes to Sanjeevani and Armaan goes to his house

Mus – thank you dr.riddhima, mujhe maloom hai ki bahut der ho gayi hai lekin hume intern ki zaroorat thi
Rid – no dr.muskaan, its ok.. mere liye sanjeevani mera dusra ghar hai.. 

Rah – ha.. I agree, agar itni mehnat aur lagav se aap kaam karti rahegi to ek din aap apne papa ke tarha ek bahut acche doctor bansakte ho
Backup Info on Rahul and Muskaan: They both love each other but are scared to confess
