Karan Singh Grover, the host of COLORS' upcoming show, Rocks India finds his co-host in India Calling girl, Manasi Parekh...
The success of MTV's Rock On has now prompted major GEC's to cash in on the same concept, and Rocks India, produced by Roshan Abbas' Encompass Events Pvt. Ltd. is a show harboring on the same lines.. It will be aired on COLORS.
Rocks India will go on air on September 27th and will air every Sunday at 8 PM.
The show will have popular faces like Shaan and Vasundhara Das as judges, while the heart throb of all girls, Karan Singh Grover will be seen anchoring the show.
According to our source, "The channel and production house were on the look out for a girl to accompany Karan as host. The production house had even approached Shilpa Anand, the ex-Riddhima of Dill Mill Gayye to partner Karan, and recreate the marvelous on-screen chemistry that they had exhibited earlier. However, the channel did not want to cash in on past popularity, and hence wanted someone else".
News coming in now is that Manasi Parekh, the India Calling girl has been finalized instead. "Manasi who has got back from the USA after doing a theater and drama course will be seen as Karan's co host in Rocks India", informs our source.
We tried calling Manasi, but she remained unavailable..

i am here after some time... but the thing is,i was forced to write after a long time... it was a very gripping episode in terms of tension and story....
i feel nothing will happen to AR.... and they have left the story hanging so that the audience comes back to see wads in store next... they didnt even show AR after they were shot... and we all know AR are meant for one another... the creatives are not foolish, they will not dig their own grave...
i am pretty geared up for Season 2 and i am waiting to see what they will do with AR... and i sincerely hope they are not dead.. if they are then it will be a very sad ending to a two long wait... but something inside me says they wont die... so guys... all the best and lets hope they come back...

this episode thankfully i saw when my family was out n i was alone.... had they seen me watching this, they wud hv been puzzled seeing me shedding tears... this is one serial ,only one which i have been watching consistently since 2 yrs... my exams come n go,i sit with my book to watch... i use to fight for the remote in the hostel..i mean all tht in one moment they finished it off by killing AR. how can they? i heard that karan is doing a film so he doesn hv dates..this very fact made me sadder...as i thought they cant carry with karan so they bringing it to an end... i always watched this show for karan. i hope they dont kill them.there is this suddden malancholy in my head,these creatives r jerks.playing with us..if they do kill them, i dont think anyone is interested to watch the new interns..especialy that dr siddhant whom they trying to bring in the armaan effect..impossi..take him backk..originals cant be replaced....
If Armaan and Riddhima dies, then I will stop watching DMG. AR are the jaan of the show.

I couldn't care less abt the new interns.. like u said Armaan Rids story should have a happy, cheerful ending. I want them to have a nice enganement and a boisterous wedding... just like the two of them and their relationship.

ok, so I've been a fan of both this forum and DMG since the beginning. I diligently watched DMG and then check this forum afterward.I loved DMG when Shilpa was there, when Sukirti was there and even now, when they replaced her with Jenn. However, this is the limit. To kill off both of the most important characters in the show and leave all the other love stories in the middle like that is unacceptable. What will happen to both Armaan and Riddhima? Will Jiya survive and interfere in Abhi and Nikki's relationship?What about Atul and Anjali? Will Muskaan ever find love again? These questions permeated my mind as I watched Riddhima fall down to her untimely...whatever it was.
I find that DMG has gone down dramatically in quality. These past couple of weeks have been a struggle. The constant need to bring in new angles and new storylines that make no sense whatever really put me off. This is not the DMG I was once obsessed with. Furthermore, the entry of the new interns seems completely and utterly inappropriate at this point. I don't know about the rest of you but when I saw the promo for tomorrow's episode, I felt a sense of anger and immense disappointment. At least, if there was some hint of everything being all right and everything coming to a logical end, then perhaps tomorrow's promo would have induced more joy in me. Lekin aisa nahi hua. The unnecessary angle of the politician's daughter and everything else completely spoiled the new interns' entry.
Sorry, but I felt a need to tell you all this. I needed a place to vent out my frustration and I felt this was the best way. Thanks.

oh and lets not forget nikki and abhi, they just told everybody that they're in luv and jia just came, so they're going to take a leap now and show wat, does this mean if these ppl r still there in the leap then there going to be like 32 and then get married, or theyre going to stay single in a lifetime of sorrow,
after AR'S death i did not enjoy the precap for tommorrow just like Nandu,
it instead made me angry because
1. they r new interns
2. they r taking a leap
3. they were all happy and there was a song
how can we enjoy them when we r feeling so bad inside for wat happened today?
they cannot just end AR'S love story like that
i said this because these were the feelings i felt after watching DMG

"MBBS se hatke loveology me atke." Yes! Its all about our favourite show; Dill Mill Gayye which had a heart breaking episode last night where it was shown that Dr. Riddhima and Dr. Armaan died. But don't worry viewers we have a gud news for you.
A little birdie from the sets informs, "Dr. Riddhima (Jennifer Winget) and Dr. Armaan (Karan Singh Grover) are not going to die after yesterday's incident in which both of them met with a horrible accident. The love story will continue but with more twists and turns."
There was a buzz around that both the actors will be shown dead and that will be the end point of the love story. Where as the Sanjeevani will be further carried on by 4 new interns. "No, the buzz is wrong, there won't be any changes. Both the doctors will be fine after a treatment and the show will continue with new and old faces." source quips immediately.
So dear audience chill out as ur favourite tele stars will be at ur service to entertain you with their flair.

Today Star One's Dil Mill Gaye will be welcoming four new interns – Karan Wahi, Moulshree Sachdeva, Neha Jhulka and Sehban Azim, keeping in line with the storyline that is taking a six month leap. But fans of the original star cast can now afford to breathe a sigh of relief as the news about them being rooted in the show has been confirmed.
Yesterday's episode indeed left us guessing the existence of Armaan(Karan Singh Grover) and Riddhima(Jennifer Winget) in the show. On the one hand Riddhima gets shot by a bullet and on the other hand Armaan falls over a glass table. And going by the Ghajini style climax … it sort of gave us the idea that one of them is going to be no more.
But our source clears the air. The source says, "Armaan's injuries are not very serious. He will recover soon. It is Riddhima whose condition is critical. So she will be required to be taken to a hospital with more specialized facilities. Armaan will naturally accompany Riddhima along with Anjali(Sunaina Gulati). It will be during the duration of Riddhima's treatment that Karan, Jennifer and Sunaina will be absent from the show. And this period will be just around 5-ten episodes."
Also Dr. Atul (Pankit Thakker) is given a strong lesson to mend his kiddish ways. Our source says, "All the interns will graduate to become resident doctors except Dr.Atul. He fails! This sadly leaves him traumatized and the result is an extremely mature Dr. Atul. Now we won't be able to laugh at his stupid questions or silly suggestions."
The stork gives a visit Dr. Kirti(Sonia Singh). According to our source, "Dr. Kirti will be shown six months pregnant. So watch out for that bump in her belly!"
Another interesting turn after DMG's leap is Jia's (Preeti Amin) entry back into Dr. Abhimanyu's (Amit Tandon) life. The last episode itself gave a glimpse into Jia's manic mind as she is shown with a slit wrist. Our source tells us, "Jia is simply not ready to sign Abhimanyu's divorce papers. This will deeply disturb Nikki(Shweta Gulati) and because of this, their relationship suffers. How they tackle this dilemma and overcome this situation is definitely something to watch out for."
Now that we know our old favorites are still there, we will definitely watch out for the show!

I have a DVR so would ALWAYS record DMG and watch it as soon as I cud get to it....I would never fwd any scenes....infact wud rewind some and see again....and now!!! all I'm doing is fwding DMG everyday just in a hope that I will be able to see Armaan and Ridhima... with killing them the creatives killed their show.... and new interns the very next day???....who in his right mind will watch the silly acting of a bunch of morons? what were they thinking anyays.....

this is the worst part in DMG.....i mean armaan n ridhima are DMG and it continues after they are gone is Bull.........I HATE DMG now n wont watch it at all.........Y?????????????? did rhey have to die?????????
if they were to leave DMG, they could have gotten married n moved to another hospital or someting.....atleast whenever i think of DMG, i would know that arman n ridhima are not dead...........but now........whenever i think of DMG.....i can only see the arman n ridhima dying while reaching for each other..........................DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i agree with anjali.....i only fastforward to see if arman n ridhima are alive or will they come back........n REALLY hate to see those stupid morons who think they can act in DMG.....hellooooooooo......NO ONE......ABSOLUTELY NO ONE can fill the shoes of arman n ridhima....................they were PERFECT........the new interns are just so stupid man....i men...they shudnt even be on tv...
