my most memorable bday was my 19th bday.... three of my best frnds, all known thro diff channels, got me separate cakes , as they were not sure of who was doing what...
after the cake cut we sat n chatted for a very long time...it was a beautiful night, i was with my closest pals....they came all the way to blore just for my bday...
when i went back to my room after the cake cut( in the hostel, it was a ritual at 12), i saw my room decoarted with baloons and cards and other sweet stuff... n i was told a very special frnd did that for me.. will never forget that bday.. i've still preserved one of the balloons though now its only in bits....

Well oone day on my bday I was pretty upset because I woke up happy tht it waz my bday but apparently no one seemed to remember it!!!!! I felt like crying everyone waz acting as they usually wld!!!! Then in the evening I waz surprised when all the lights went out and I was saying mummy kahan hain aap???????? All of a sudden the lights went on and they all screamed HAPPY BDAY!!!!!!!! There were so many ppl and i had no idea when they got here because I waz upstairs in my room!!!!!!! It waz kind of embarrasing coz I waz in my PJ's but then I went and changed!!!!!!
That bday was special because I had a crush on this hot guy who waz my mum's friend's soN and because i got loads of presents!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cme 2 states..for higher studies..sumtime 2nd week of august..new place..new people..new frdz..i was missin it all..
bt i gt a lovely surprise by couple dear frdz..tey gathered up at sum1z place..called all we knew..abt 20 or so..(we were new..so koe ppl better sake)..tey gt it all decorated...flowers..balloonz..booze n a huge(it really was!) sponge bob cake..decorated n all!OMG!!i was in tears!it was soooo sweet of tem!!(sponge bob - cuz i hve tis REALLY huge bob at ma plce{my frd won me in six flags} - half size of me)
soo basically it was d best bday of my life...cuz in india..u koe ppl since long..u meet tem hve fun..n all tht..but its normal..here it was 2 weeks tht id met tem..n i was thinkin of spendin d nite watchin a movie n here tey surprised me!

then I cut a cake.
After this wonderful moments I got big big b'day bunks.Ohh my god that was terrible one.
Then how our college girls knew dont know but they called me to canteen and there also beutiful chocolate cake was waiting for me with all our class mate girls that was a momorable B'day I never forgot.

The most memorable birthday I ever had,without any doubt,has gotta be my 13th birthday which was this Jan. I did not have net then and so I didn't have any videos or photos of DMG and Armaan. The craze was new then. Only 4 months had been,dear! I had a birthday party in my house and one of my friends,who had net, downloaded pics for me in a cd and presented them to me. I was so happy then that I was just gonna faint... I know it sounds pretty foolish.....but I was really happy at that time!
From a person who did not have any photos of dmg to someone who has lots of them,that birthday is surely special to me. In other words, mera ARMAAN pura ho gaya!!

The most memorable birthday I had was last year i.e 2007 my 24th birthday .. in Manchester
I had a grueling day at work and then I came home on the 19th .. Took a shower at night abt the usual time .. my flatmates wished me and I thought .. thats it .. who more will wish me.. etc and prepared to sleep ..
I put of the light near to 12 midnight and was just abt to sleep when all my closest friends from manchester knocked on my door with a cake and candle and all that and sang me HAPPY BIRTHDAY at the door ..
Then the cake smudging ceremony took place .. we drank a couple of pints and then they let me go only becoz I had work the next morning .. On the actual bday we had a usual bash !!

This is on my 19th birthday....we were in hostel that time....and we have a tradition of celebrating birthday at 12 in the night....
it was 30th night...we had some quiz or something next day...so I went to liby....one of my frnz said she need keys to my room to study...so I gave it to her....I returned at 11:30 types...went to her to get my keys....she acted v strange and lost...and said.."its not with me, its with the other frn"..i was v tired and was somewhat irritated....anyways went to tv room to search for the other frn....she said.."what!! I dont have the keys...the first gal only has it!" I got v furious! here I was some 20 mins away from my bday...v tired, these ppl dont remember my bday...and lost my room keys :(....i was v frust....went to comp room to check email...just in case someone else remembered it :O....at 11:55 there was a announcement on PA for all 2nd yr ppl to come to my room...I was taken aback!....I didnt feel like going....then someone came to call me...I reluctantly went there....and opppss!!! was so surprised! they decorated my room with balloons and ribbons all around...and there was a beautiful cake in the middle of room with a huge balloon hanging just above it!....
I was so happy :)....was furious with the same ppl some 15 mins back...and god they did so much...I will never forget that bday :)....it was one of the most nicely celebrated bday's of my life :D...

So my most memorable birthday is my recent 17th birthday. It was a monday so had my school that day. I got late by a minute or 2, was scared ki m'am toh class mein nahi aa gayi hongi(most strict teacher of the school, I used to be damn scared of her, infact everybody was). I was running through the corridor to reach my class, and the moment I reached the door, totally out of breath, whole of my class started singing Happy B'day for me, God, I was so surprised 'cause I thought not many knew that it was my B day, only a few friends did. I was very happy....But suddenly the teacher reached there, lekin surprisingly she didn't scould, just wished me bahut pyar se...
Then in the evening,after cutting the cake at home with mum papa, with all my friends went to our favourite restaurant, ordered unlimited food, which was a big problem 'cause at last half of the food had to gulfed my one of the friends, actually it was a part of a dare while playing truth and dare, some dares were so wild yaar...... I so often remember that day...... and miss my school days sooo much..........(kyonki abhi abhi choda hai...)

okie...my memorable b'day....i have a few....but the most memorable one was whn i was in my 12th.....
it begun as a normal day [ i usually am one of those weird ppl who doesnt really feel excited abt his/her b'day....so fondly called by my frnds...alien...bcoz some things abt me r really weird]...anywayz so...it was a normal day ...i went to college to me two of my very dear frnds from college....v had our normal campus walks and canteen masti and stuff....thn i got a call from home....my sis asked me to rush home imm.....whn i got bck home i was surprised to have my school frnds there.....[ i usually have a grp of three whn i comes to close frnds....u know...again in school i have 2 close frnds] they were there wid cake and tickets for movie......i don really rem the movie name [it was tht television actor aamir ali's first movie...a complete double meaning movie ...i till date wonder y did my frnds send me for it....yup send me...woh log 3 tickets to laye but couldnt make it for some reasons and i went wid my sis and her best frnd who actually even am very close to.......though the movie was.......i[have no words to explain] but v enjoyed tht movie bcoz luckily v were seated in a good multiplex wid all college gng crowd....and thn when am home i had received a cake from one of my net frnd who resides in the US and even a card wid a locket from a nother frnd of mine who resides in UK.......
tht was one of my b'day filled wid surprises......my most memorable b'day in its own way....
even my 21st b'day was memorable but this one was more dear to me soo.....

I have not had a chance to celebrate my birthday properly for about 10 years now(like i used to when i was 12 or younger eg cakes and friends etc ) because my b'day falls in the middle of the academic session and around exam time. Despite this in my second year i had a very good surprise from my friends. Basically one of my friends at uni has her b'day on the 9th of feb and that fell on a weekend. So on the mon i told my firends tht we should give her a surprise by bringing in the cake and stuff becoz she wouldn't be suspecting anything. I was responsible for bringing the b'day gril to the canteen without her knowing. Come lunch time the others went to get the stuff and i was sent off on my mission. when i finally got to the canteen and she saw the cake, I said surprise we were planning this all along and she and the others turned aournd and said surprise as this is ur surprise b'day as well. it was sucha a shock and we had lots of fun butting the cake and singing loudly in the canteen in midst of wired looks from surrounding people. one of my best friends had also decided to send me a rose on the 14th of feb via 1 of the 'cupids' that deleiver love msgs in uni on valentines day and was planning to annouce it in the lect hall so everybody can sing to me but on my threats of murdering her, she backed down.
I know everybody has mentioned their best b'day but i would also like to mention the worst b'day i have ever had. on the eve of my 18th b'day I was making some pakorays at home and the saptual i was taking them out with broke in my hand... I had hot oil spilled on my front and both of my hands were basically deep fried. I was sent off to a far away hospital and spent the first hour of my 18th in a ambulance and the rest of the day (and tht week) with bandages in my hands unable to do anything... Not a nice experience!!!

Your Story: In my last year in engg college, I had weirdest treasure hunt game on my birthday. Entire day none of my friends wished me. Infact, some left me in college and went home without even saying bye. So I returned home a bit upset. My parents also went out saying they had some work. So I was alone in my room reading my fav book. There, I found a slip of paper and that was the first clue. After following all the clues, I found my birthday gift (which was a very cute teddy) and a clue to where my friends (and parents) were. It was the most lovely evening I spent.
Why that Birthday is special to me: Ummm ... all have now got busy with their work and have moved on with life. I miss them all a lot and these moments make me realize how important and special all my friends are to me.
